Unigine Heaven is a very detailed gaming engine for sure as it is the current PC DX11 Benchmark (a test that breaks video cards down to their knees)
I'm sure Unigine tailor fitted the engine for the PS3 and the Cell but it's too bad that the PS3 can't do Tessellation, well it can but a very few add ons here and there and not the full DX11 you need a Crossfire or SLI set up to run experience like Metro 2033 with Depth of Field and Tessellation on.

Honestly there was a time when GOTY awards really mattered but with most journalist getting paid or promised gifts to write bullcrap reviews, GOTY doesn't matter anymore as it has simply become a tool to get gamers to buy your magazine , watch your show, or buy the "GOTY" edition of the same game you already have.

This articles title is VERY misleading. WOW does use a DX11 code path to do DX9 graphics more efficiently. WOW does not use any DX11 visual effects.
WOW runs on a modified warcraft 3 engine that was uses Direct X 8.1 (no that is not a typo). On it's highest settings in DX9 WOW looks good but it has a HUGE draw distance and a lot of detail.
As a Veteran the story in Homefront would be more realistic if it was from the perspective of a Solder stationed in Korea who was fighting a united Korean army that was intent on destroying Japan. Now that's a very real scenario.
Korea invading the U.S., not saying it couldn't happen but Homefront trying to gain exposure from controversy with it's week tie in to current events is FOOLISH.

Well as a long time ATi user I am very impressed with the GTX 570 as it gives you GTX 480 performance but uses less watts and runs a whole lot cooler.
If Nvidia can get the price down to $299 I can see a SLI set up in my new build.
But then again I gotta wait and see AMD's HD 6970 performance first.
Pre-Alpha? Are you Serious? I've been defending GT5 all week, Phuck GT5 I'm a PC gamer (what was I thinking).
If they get some Kinect use out of a CORE game than hey I can no longer bash it cause the only cool uses I've seen out of the Kinect is when it's attached to a PC.
So using Kinect and a controller for Deus Ex. This seems like something thrown in at the last minute or is false.
