Can't wait for HL2 ep 3 either but at least Portal 2 has a release date.
Valve has become that hot girl that won't give it up on the first date and makes you wait, and wait, and wait.
First it should be experienced on the PC in FULL 1080p HD or higher at or over 60 fps across 3 screens for peripheral view.
Second using a Keyboard and Mouse for quick accuracy and precise movements but if you prefer controlers be my guess.
Third Some people like the Arcade feel, some like semi-real, some like Mil Sims so you can't say this is better than that because my gaming style is different from yours.

Well DICE has already mentioned that the updated Frostbite 2 engine has been stripped of it's DX9 code so only DX10 and DX11 graphics cards will work.
So like Bad Company 2 the PC version will be PC specific, technically not a PC exclusive but BF3 PC gets made first then they will port it to the consoles which is how it should be done.
I wish Killzone 2 and 3 were on the PC as they are the cream of the crop in console graphics along with Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 and pretty soon Uncharted 3. But......
Crysis PC isn't even the graphics king on PC anymore as Metro 2033 has taken over that spot. So consoles next gen need to catch Crysis first and maybe Metro 2033 the gen after that.....

unless your comparing a PS3 or 360 game to the intense graphics of Killzone 2 Uncharted 2 or God of War 3 then it really doesn't matter what the game looks like because we all know what the PS3 is capable of and a crappy port just reflects the lack of quality of the developer and not the hardware.
Dead Space is a Third person Doom 3 clone sorta kinda.
I'm sure they are gonna turn it into Dead Space: Modern Warfare 2 but I wouldn't classify it as survival horror.
Either way it was a good game, just fix the dam camera.
I don't get excited for all these fake ass gaming girls on TV. They just act like they play games in hopes of getting a hosting gig on MTV or VH1. Actually they failed at getting a hosting Gig on MTV so G4 was all that was left.

I don't think the HD 6970 is gonna drop in price because when you see the Crossfire results you'll understand.

I wouldn't use that Mobo because the second PCi-e slot is x4 and if you upgraded to Crossfire you would suffer poor scaling and micro stutter.
