@Foxtrot it sold extremely well, and most people loved the game. I’ve only played a few minutes of this game so can’t really comment on it deserving to be a game of the year winner. However even being nominated for the award is a good accomplishment considering all the competition out there.

Warning shot? WTF is that? Nintendo does what they do every generation. They are no threat to anyone. If the switch sells 200 million and PS4 only 120 mill there won’t be any issues, at the end of the day people are not making choice between the PS4 and switch. Their main concern is their paychecks which is why they made adjustments this time around. I still remember when they said they could sell the PlayStation without games and it would still sell. I hope they continue on this path, and work on great games. My concern is when you get this level of success, sometimes you take your foot off the gas. Either way this is great news for Sony.
Well Xbox is in competition with consoles not PCs , so yes it’s a console exclusive. I have a pc that’s more than capable of running it, but I picked it up on Xbox one, and I’m certain most console gamers will do the same.
TBH Average Joe doesn't invest in DLC and MT. That's generally reserved for the hardcore gamers, I know several gamers who always purchase the season pass. I've always felt that once you pay for all the DLC upfront then there's no incentive for the developer/publisher to put out good content.
@LP I think STEAM is a fairly good source to get an idea what the average PC specs are, and based on the info available on STEAM (PC community BTW) the X is above average, and has a real chance at hitting 4k at settings most of those pc's wouldn't be able to manage. @LP the Xbox x actually outperforms the average pc, because the average pc doesn’t hit anywhere near 4K. It even keeps up with some higher end pc set ups, just not with FPS. It’s very clear that games on the X look great and have good to great performance.

Everything matters but honestly I think most Xbox gamers mainly play third party games. So it makes sense for them to buy the X.

Honestly that is the problem, new IP's don't sell well on the Xbox. Very sad that games like Ryse, Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive did very poorly. Probably why they haven't invested in new IP's.

TBH I’ve been waiting for a console Pokémon game for a very loooooong time, I think it’s almost time to purchase a Nintendo console again. ( I haven’t purchased one since the 64)
I’ve never understood why people suggest, that folks are being screwed over when they make an informed purchase. These are the same people that complain about yearly COD releases. All of those games release with new campaigns, maps gameplay tweaks etc. These are the same people that buy every god of war or forza, or GT that comes out, it’s all basically the same shit unless it’s a new IP. Stop judging and start gaming.
I was running it with a GTX 670, but performance was not great. I had to tweak several settings, and that was at 1080p. It still looked great, but if you're really trying to get better "graphics" you may need to pick up a much faster card and an I7. The X and pro will both do over 1080p, and I'm sure will look amazing.
