A locked 60 fps frame rate is better than a locked 30 fps frame rate. However 30 locked vs 60 variable imo in most cases is better.
Game is looking great, just wish they hadn't announced it so prematurely. No playable demo yet, it really sucks.
If you're a gamer, there's always something to play. The re-release of rise of nations has kept me busy lately along with SC blacklist both on pc.
The games are only as good as the gameplay bro. The extra eye candy is always nice but it's not everything. Sony's system is strong for a console but they are always delaying games, it gets a bit tiresome.
We're definitely not building or purchasing a pc as good as the ps4 for gaming with $400. However given the fact that the pc is upgradeable you could have purchased one several years ago and just upgraded the video card for a mere $200 and given it new life. I don't think it's fair to compare a console to a pc, given that the pc has a lot more uses and advantages. The console by nature is very limited and even more so now thanks to the fear of hacking.
@cjduncan. Just to be clear I have a ps4 and not an xbox one. Youre talking about innovation and the fact is most of sonys games are not innovative well besides LBP. The games you list are great except for infamous it was a bit of a disappointment. Youre mentioning the order like its a proven series one thing that it has going for it is great graphics, we'll have to wait and see if its (innovative) at all. MS doesnt receive any credit for the new games/franchises they put out they do...
Did people not read this section.
He agreed that new SDKs do improve performance significantly but he can’t say anything about DirectX 12 since it was not his area of expertise.
He basically has nothing to say about directx 12 performance gains.
Great looking game.
Seems like a great service, but I think if they allowed us to rent ps4 games, it could become a major selling point.
Still getting through the game still enjoying it. Will pick this up after.
Price drop and a good line up will help xbox increase sales, but not surpass the ps4. I feel like sony has delivered on almost every aspect that is important to consumers. I'm sure being number one is important to MS but they will still find success this gen.
5-6 hours is perfect for these games, keep it short and sweet.
League of legends,DOTA,WOW other mmo's ,Diablo,Starcraft, company of heroes, the original witcher stalker, the arma series plus all multiplats are better on pc tons of quality free to play games and indie games Day z and so on., I agree to a degree with you that pc exclusives are limited and now going multiplat but the fact is there's a lot more variety on that platform. By the way most of the stuff that is cheap on steam is games that people are paying a full 50-60 dollars on console f...
It should have been included to begin with. So they can definitely do wrong.
It really depends on the game, with some games you don't really notice the small drops but with some it can damage the whole experience.
How about if they just fix the EFFFFFFF error that happens in most games. That would be fantastic. I've had it happen on nba 2k battlefield and one of my buddies has the problem on infamous it's really irritating.
Frame rate drops quite a bit sometime I'm guessing it's not locked at 30 fps because you can definitely see it and feel it in big battles.
Not sure why you're getting disagrees about mentioning the $10 upgrade. I played the first version and loved it. However I feel sony is being greedy with this version, I'm sure they have been working on it for quite some time they could have easily made it a $10 upgrade.
I hope it scales well, all I need is to upgrade my cpu I'm hoping a gtx 670 is good enough to run it.
Yeah bro, but the pc games dont really push boundaries graphically it usually happens after new consoles arrive. I still remember crysis though still think it's one of the best looking games out there.
