As of now, it seems that way. I believe the Switch will sell more than Wii U, but I don't think it will sell more than 30 million units. The biggest problem Nintendo has, is that there will not be thrid party support (again). No developer will make a game differently for the Switch, when they can do practically the same game for Xbox and PS4, and sell much more. Microsoft has proved that you can survive with only thid party games and a lack luster first party offering (mostly). However, i...
I totally agree that the Switch will be confusing as the Wii U was, but in different way. The biggest mistake Nintendo is making, is marketing the Switch as a home console. The thing is 99% portable. It is literaly a portable console that you can play at home, not the other way around!. I know they are doing it because they don't want to get rid of the 3DS yet, however, it's going to bite them in the ass.
Nintendo has made the same mistake for the third time. They ...
I preordered the grey one, but I wanted the one with red and blue joycons. Hopefully later I can change it.
The only information I need is:
1) Price
2) Games
3) What's in the box: The Switch has to come with everything they have shown except for the PRO controller. It has to have the dock, and the thing to join both joy-cons, and a freaking CHARGER!
Probably yes, because it is a direct continuation of the story. However, the game is very fun and not to long (even if you do all the challenges and sidequests). It is very worth the price for the Remaster on PS4. I got the Platinum in 5 days (for the platinum you practically have to 100% the game)
don't doubt that for a second!
The power is not just for bragging right! Nintendo should be very familiar with the concept of no power means no third party support which equals poor sales.
How would it break immersion if the characters have the same art-style? Every character from Toriyama could be mixed and you'd never know!.
I wouldn't have any problem if Nintendo went multiplatform. Just imagine a Zelda or Metroid with the power of a PS5/Xbox 4? (Assuming Nintendo goes realisitc again, like the Wii U tech demo).
I agree with this. While Nintendo games have always been excellent (with few exceptions), they are definitely not enough to make Nintendo successful. Third party always brag about how they are going to support Nintendo's newest console, but by the end of the first year, they leave because the console is not powerful enough, and don't want a PR disaster for releasing a medicore version.
Nintendo is still trying to ride the Wii wave and it's going to be their bigg...
disappointing doesn't mean is bad. Final Fantasy XV was disappointing in that the story and the game were unfinished, but the game is still great. The same thing happened with Metal Gear Solid V. Sadly, a lot of people confuse the two, and make lists about bad and disappointing games mixed together.
I downloaded the japanese demo thinking it was only for them, but when I looked into the US store, it wasn't there. Maybe it will be available until today, since it's supposed to come out on the 22nd, so maybe at midday.
Yep, ever since I saw The Last Guardian's trophy list, I knew I would only get two. I was never able to get ICO's speedrun trophies, and there is no way I will get TLG's either. The trophy list sucks for this game. Also, why would they make a speedrun in a game that requiers patience, specially with how Trico's AI works?
The game is $29.99 on PS Store right now until tuesday decmber 20th. Also, Amazon has it at $39.99 if you want it the disc.
I really hate that journalists get much more beautiful packages and much more valuable content than players. I mean, players are the ones PAYING for the game, they are the ones that make or break the game and publisher´s reputation. Why in the right mind, would publishers spend much more money making all those media kits and give them for free, to give them to people that, sometimes, don't even care about the game?
The only way Sony would start making PS4 Pro Only games, is if the majority of people who already owns a PS4, switch to a PS4 Pro. However, that's would be really hard to measure.
It will be very interesting to see how the market and how Sony react to Scorpio. Microsoft wants to get rid of generations, Sony doesn't. Scorpio will be out for two or three years before the PS5 is out, and it's not hard to imagine the PS5 being more powerful than Scorpio at that time (2020). Will Microsoft release yet another console to go against the PS5?
I'm not an expert, nor can see the future, but if I had to predict the outcome, Microsoft's vision o...
I've been saying exactly that for a long time! The best strategy Microsoft could have with the Xbox is to invest in creating many new studios to make great first party titles. Of course people's preferences are different, but no one can't deny the vast variety that PlayStation first party have. Sony releases a lot of games that are first party each year.
Microsoft should focus on creating IPs, have variety to make the console for every type of gamer. A powerful...
The only reason that someone should skip a console to buy another brand, is the games! People buy a console because of the games it offers. If Scorpio has the power to send astronauts to the edge of the universe, but the games that offers are few or someone doesn't like it, it doesn't make sense to buy it!
People need to sort choosing their consoles because of the fun they will have with them, not the tech, or because one is better than the other.
it takes no more than 5 minutes to get used to the gravity mechanics. You just point and press R1 to go to that direction. The hair will be your clue to know if you are upside down.
