I wonder how will this affect the PS Vita. Being at $249.99 seemed a great price because everyone was comparing it to the 3DS, but now that it will be cheaper, would customer want to go for the cheaper one or the higher tech one?
Where the hell did the Japanese get the idea that we need western games from JAPANESE developers? They cry about why their games are not selling, but they are completely confused about what gamers really want. If only they had continued making relevant games and bring them over America, Japanese developers wouldn't be in this situation.

I think that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the last game to showcase and utilize as most as possible from the PS3. It will be the God of War 2 of this generation. Still, I think we have two more years left in this generation. The new consoles will be released until 2013 most likely. 2012? out of the question, just the Wii U.
This is not a sequel, just a "in between" game. That is why, I suppose
Sadly, starting this gen, "unlock able character" (or any stuff) doesn't exist anymore. You want something extra, you have to pay for it. Forget about rewarding players for finishing the game, or being good at them.
I have a PS3, and this is something I really like about MS. They have released a lot of special editions for the 360, and they are better than the PS3's. I wish Sony did that too instead of just releasing bundles.

I prefer to hope that motion controls will disappear. I don't want this ti be the future of video games. I don't want developers focusing more on the casuals and do more easy, short games instead of what we have now.
This gen the Xbox brand is in a very weird position. It is selling very well in America, but the question is: How many of 360 sold are/were not to replace RROD. You may argue that it has a 3yrs warranty, but it didn't since the beginning, and I know several friends that had to buy new consoles, even though they had warranty, and there are some people that either chose or had to buy new ones as well.
The same goes for Kinect. This device is excellent...but not for gaming (...

I don't get the buzz about this game. I only played Megaman Legends and I did not like it, however, I understand that for people that were fans of the series were let down and are frustrated. This is something that is wrong with the industry. They are announcing games well before they should to get hype and have stock value go up, or just to build excitement and they don't think about the consequences of th eir doings. In order to have better art styles, graphics need to improve. You wouldn't be able to have games like Okami, Shadows of the Colossus, Viewtiful Joe, Flower, etc it graphics hadn't improve overtime.
People may think that graphics are not important, but they actually are. They are the way for developers to show their vision of the game. Obviously, gameplay is very important too, but that is something that you have to have whether you have good graphics or not.

The author is wrong with this one. I think is the very oppsite. Square Enix would want this game to be the best it can, at least Nomura is.
