Although I now play Battlefield on the PS3, I got into it on the PC with Battlefield 1942 on my Geforce 2. It's the PC and DX11 that's pushing the tech with this game, not the PS3. It'd be a shame to not have this game on the PC.
PS3 is merely keeping up with the PC (at lower resolution and framerate) thanks to its SPUs. It's a great accomplishment for hardware designed 6-7 years ago to keep up with the newest DX11 shaders.
I really don't understand why they won't have a Monster Hunter game on the PS3. It'd be like Call of Duty here, in terms of sales in Japan.
A Warzone game in KZ3 is like 10 separate games tho...
I can't play all the time due to having a job and such but according to the game stats, I played 20 hours of MP and that's after finishing the SP last friday. The last game I was this hooked on MP was Bad Company 2.
The spending is not on XBL, it's on Xbox in general, including disc based games, XBL marketplace, accessories, anything Xbox related.
Besides, the sample was cherry picked amongst the most active and hardcore gamers, so it wasn't a random sampling and its results cannot be generalized over the entire Xbox userbase.

Unless you're a moron who thinks it's ok to pay for online multiplayer, it does not belong to 360. Get a game for the PS3, or if the port is bad, get it for the PC, since it's guaranteed to be better than any console version.

I have always preferred playing multiplayer Battlefield to playing multiplayer COD. I've never held on to a COD game for more than a month, whereas I've played BFBC2 until KZ3 came out.
