If you're looking for info on the game, this seems like a pretty solid review of it.
A comment left on the site by a reader asked, "I have another question for people who have played the game. Do you think the game feels a lot like Alone In the Dark? It seems to me if you substituted the writer for a detective and the town for an island, that's what you would get."
If you have played the game, what do you think of it? Is it a game you would recommend to others?
I still need to finish the single-player campaign, but I agree with the article about how much time it can consume overall.
Perhaps Yoshi helps add to the variety as well, at least from the small clips I've seen it looks like fun.
I'm only really interested in one of the games, but not for the asking price.
I don't know what it was about the first one, it just didn't "hook" me like Super Mario 64, or even Super Mario Sunshine(yes, I enjoyed it more than SMG).
I got enough stars for the final boss fight, then never went back after beating it. It was like I was forcing myself to finish the game, hoping it would get better. I kept the game, thinking if I play it again, perhaps it'll be a different experience now.
Is this one better than the first?
I own and played the first, but didn't really enjoy as I did past Mario titles; so I haven't purchased SMG2 yet.
It looks like you put a lot of work into the review. Good job.
I own a PS3, but I've been playing my Wii a lot more because of Monster Hunter 3.
While HD graphics would be nice, they don't keep the game from being fun.
This is my first Monster Hunter game in the series, so if the others are like it; I guess it could be like a FPS series of games.
Did the PSP and PS2 games have a single-player campaign? Also, do you know how many Hunter Ranks were in the PSP and PS2 version by any chance?
I'll be playing some this week, usually nights; so, if you want, leave your name/code on the post, and I'll write it down and search for you when I get on.
Around 40 hours in, and only HR9!
The highest monster I've defeated is a Barroth, what about everybody else that is playing it?
Call of Duty: World at War is my most played Wii game.
Sure it lacked some of the Nazi Zombie mode, and co-op; but the multi-player was very solid.
Whether it was 4am in the morning, or 2pm in the afternoon, I never had trouble finding a match when I signed on to play it.
I'm excited to see what they do with Black Ops on the Wii.
BTW, has anybody seen a television commercial for the game?
If so, can you recall the first day you saw it on tv?
I tried to find the data when putting the chart together, but didn't find anything I could use for the chart.
Did anybody pick this up yesterday?
Has anybody played this game? If so, would you recommend it to other Wii owners?
The Conduit's multiplayer needed some work.
The spawn bug/glitch ruined it for me.
The rocket launcher glitch was ridiculous.
they'll get it fixed.
Sooner, or later...hopefully not later!
learning their moves, and knowing how to defend against them.
Timing is an important factor with the defense as well though.
I'll see if I can get something up in the next few days on Amit, with perhaps a voice-over on it, explaining what to watch for and do.
I wonder which one of these will have longer legs, as of sales and game-play.
I haven't played SMG2, but I did play NSMBW.
I wonder how many people will collect all the stars in SMG2, and play it with the two-player mode; compared to how many people played NSMBW with at least two-players.
