i can only see it benefiting xbox exclusives. and i think they wanted more power so the both PC and console can utilize cross-play without the xbox being too underpowered. when it comes to the multiplats i dont think there will be much of a difference.
I think they are trying to get the rights for a new Crash. the remasters were easier to get rights for. plus they wouldnt just release remasters if sony wasn't looking to make crash 4

the game has so much mod support on the PC that this only makes sense if your a console-only player. looking at steam stats right now skyrim still averages 30K active players.

It is totally getting a pass, but right now it's skating by on the multiplayer being fun and the fact that this is blizzard. if they don't release enough content post launch the playerbase will drop off hard. features are very barebones (cant even vote for maps, matchmaking is sub-par).
