Gears of War story could afford to be shorter because gamers have multiplayer to give Gears a high replay value. What does Heavenly Sword do after the 6 hour story........for $60 no less?
Which do you prefer? A game that looks like Gears of War with a world as vast as Oblivion would take YEARS to create currently. It's the weirdest thing. When I first heard of a Conan title, I was stoked as I was ready to finally step into Arnold's shoes......boots. But then I seen the trailer and I was like, "meh" but when I heard about this leap ahead to release the game, conveniently right at the onset of the holiday shopping season, I cried foul. Not to go totally off the subject, but do anybody remember "Dirty Harry" and who was making that game and when it was supposed to come out?
Gamestop gave $350 credit on the ps3 60 gig when it was $599 so they may only give you $250 now. If there is a price drop, you may as well just go ahead keep it, and make headlines on youtube by doing something totally over the top with your ps3, like......uh, give it to a hospital so they can continue to utilize all of those nongaming functions like folding and playing 007 HD for patients and such.
Even if or if not now, just know that NO title, no matter how loyal people think studios are to a certain brand, is above negotiation. If exclusivity has EVER been discussed regarding FF and MGS4, then you could one day even see KILLZONE 3 on an Xbox.........be it a 360 or 720.

I do agree we need to have the 360 available there in Japan, but we should not be giving these guys all of these breaks on the damn system. I mean I've seen whole mega bundles over there in Japan that seemed like they sold for less than what a standalone core xbox sells for over here, now that's just nuts! If I were Microsoft, I'd say screw Japan and start to pour all of this money into new regions who have yet to experience gaming consoles on a mainstream level.
I mean part 2 was sooo great of a game with so many fighters to choose from, I would think that they would want to give it another go with that license. Then again, what about a Marvel vs. DC fighting game? They did it with the comics, so why not a game?
