Great numbers considering the price cut. However this does confirm that the 360 is ahead WW as it outsold the Ps3 by nearly 2ml units this year.
360 has been ahead WW ever since Kinect launched go check Sony/MS financial reports for proof.
Looks like FFXIII-2 did the trick and won back a lot of fans.
Can't wait to get this, would have got the crystal edition but its all sold out now.

Well done MS, they have been leading WW sales ever since the inception of Kinect. If they cut price this year they could easily be no. 1 WW again especially with Halo for the hardcore and Star Wars for the casual.
FFXIII-2 it got a perfect score from Fatimsu how many FFs have done that? Based on the demo its seems to be the best JRPG of this generation so far and thats good enough for me and I'm sure all true FF fans will agree too.

So much for online on the go, online gaming will be a fortune considering the constant uploading/downloading.
Sony isn't Apple and doesn't have the brand recognition to sell overpriced products, so don't compare Vita to the iPad, compare it to the 3DS, which was selling better than Vita is now and still got a price cut.
And every exclusive Kinect game can't be done on Move. Sony needs to stop with this silly PR crap, it makes them look desperate.
Kinect grew considerably in the holidays, while Move and Wii decreased, pretty much explains it.
Kinect will likely explode next year with a price cut, star wars and all those 'hardcore' games.
Looks like the 3DS isn't a flop, lets see if Vita can do the same in the future.
The 360 is once again the no.1 console WW which is amazing considering its the oldest console and the only one of the big 3 who didn't get a pricecut. Imagine next year with a $100 pricecut, it could outsell everyone 2:1
Seems a bit worrying considering Japan will be Vita's biggest region. Since its doing worse than the 3ds did at launch I got a feeling we are in for a big price crash.
It doesn't need to be big with the hardcore its already massive with the casuals and that was MS's plan.
Its all about next gen now, and making it mandatory for every Xbox. That way every game will have Kinect features and the hardcore will start to love it.

80% of gamers don't a have loyalty to one company, you can tell by simply looking at the install base of the Xbox, Gamecube and PS2 and now look at the install base of the 360, Wii and PS3. Positions swapped completely.
Gamers go to where the best games and services that appeal to them are, not to who made them.
It only got hate because it went multiplatform. I can promise you if it was the same game but exclusive to the PS3 fans wouldn't be hating on it as much even if it got the same scores.
Just look how everyone here is excited about FFvsXIII without any info about it, its only because its exclusive. When it gets announced as multi platform (which we all know it will) watch how everyone will turn on it, i can promise you that.
