They should never have cut the price so fast, since its still selling the same as it did without one the only difference is they are losing more money
The longer it takes, the higher the cost and the more likely it goes multiplat. Happened with FFXIII and LA Noire.
Sony was leading in 2011 at this time too but by the end of the year the 360 came back and without a price cut.
And this year the 360 will likely get one......

And yet Sony hasn't posted a profit for how long? Theres a difference between a $1 profit and a $100m profit.
And yet its still the no.1 selling console WW. And they are actually making money...

Its incredible that MS managed to be the No.1 console last year without cutting price. In fact the 360 hasn't had a price cut in about 3 years now only new models so they must be raking in the $$$.
If they are smart they would cut the price of the 360 right before the launch of Halo 4 for another mega sales boost.
Wouldn't be surprising, they were no.1 last year and will certainly be this year too since they are the only company who can afford a price cut.
Will be interesting who takes the lead next, hopefully they will be willing to bring back Black and White

I was thinking that too, but MS would be silly to release a Halo and Gears game in the same year along with a Fable and Forza game, especially with a new COD and possibly GTAV.
If Gears is the last one it will have to be an XBLA Kinect game.
Looks like the leaks are starting, so far we know there's Halo 4, Fable: Heroes and now Forza Horizon.
I got a feeling MS will be bringing the big guns on monday can't wait.
A pricecut/Halo 4/Star Wars Kinect are all they need to remain no.1 WW. They had next to nothing in 2011 and came out on top, 2012 should be easy pickings.
