I had no problems. I inserted the PS4 disc and downloaded the PS5 version. It’s frickin beautiful. I didn’t try to transfer my save file tho.
$70 is really for early adopters. A few months and the price becomes more pleasing to the pallet.
In a Demon Souls way it is, but not multiplayer in the traditional sense of teammates fighting next to you. The isolation is part of the atmosphere.
That’s the actual poster?! AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Looks awesome.
Best Buy has it for $20 right now.
Yes, please remind us all of the Xbox next gen exclusives MS dropped in the first 3 months. I too am curious.
You try to cheapen PS exclusives but it doesn’t work. I bought a PS5 to play Demon Souls and the next gen version of Miles Morales, as well as all the next gen games heading to PS5. Both are extremely strong launch titles. Since January, my PS5 game library has already matched my Xbox One game library. I didn’t buy a Series X cuz there was nothing new to play that I couldn’t...
Yeah, they didn’t do everything right. Launching a console without a real Series X exclusive, to showcase what the system can do, was a big misstep in my opinion.
Playing past games is a nice perk, but when I drop $500 I wanna see a game that can back it up.
Except they actually have learned from their mistakes. They dominated last gen and came out the gate swinging this gen cuz of the mistakes made with the PS3.
I love the PS5 and it’s still in its infancy. I already have 4 native PS5 exclusives, and I am enjoying ps4 games upgraded to current gen.
I have zero problems with the PS5 except keeping my controller charged.
Yeah. It’s dead unless they show something new.
For MS, they want gamers to pay $10-$15 a month for the lifetime of Series X and beyond. It’s less vs a game, but let’s say 10 years of dedicated Game Pass would be about $1800. Now multiply that by the millions of Xbox or PC owners who subscribe.
I’m preordering Halo. I’m looking to buy an Xbox Series X as it’s starting to show value (as in actual native current gen exclusives). But I’m not sold on Game Pass, PSNow, GameFly, or EAPlay. I’m not a fan of bills. I’ll just pay my $70. ...
Oh well, “26 years in the making” then.
In engine or not, I’m no longer impressed by cinematic teasers that doesn’t show anything as to what the gameplay will be like.
A solid chunk of my PS 1-3 games were from Konami. Silent Hill, Metal Gear, Castlevania. Konami needs to stop sitting on these IPs and breathe new life as true games. I.e. not mobile or pachinko games.
Ha. That discount is how much I got it for. It was already $29 within weeks of its release during the holiday season and it’s currently $19.99 at Best Buy.
Yeah. Akuma felt like a working prototype to an actual Tekken X Street Fighter, but if it never happened during the last 2 generations, it was likely not going to happen at all.
Cool. All arcades near me have shut down. Real arcades at least. There’s still a Dave and Busters but they ain’t got anything legit.
I’m stoked for a new Cruisin game. Was this ever in the arcades?
Hahahaha. Press together for leg slap super kick
BS article. Why does this author seem to single out Sony for artificial scarcity? I mean the Xbox is extremely difficult to find too. There’s a well known issue of chip shortages. It’s like he’s really bitter that he didn’t get a PS5 and needed to write a whole article that the PS5 really isn’t as popular as it’s made out to be. Companies want to sell their merchandise. They want to make back the cost of development. The idea that large companies like Sony, whose PS had a huge demand prior to...
I never got a horror vibe from it. Just that sense of being in an unknown environment like other Metroid games. I guess that’s a type of horror to some.
The article states that people are locked out even after downloading the appropriate files.
