I know. It sucks to be a Nintendo fan right now.
What a rip-off!!!! 150 for a system that cost $600 bones, I don't think so.
I'd like to see that too. Right now seeing what is next from Retro is the only reason I'm not selling my Wii.
Splosions look great. I wonder how much of it is touched up. Also, would it look like this when playing GTA4 and Lost and the Damned?
You can tell because it looks like one image when the PS3/360 logos are at the bottom.
I woulda rather had Lego Batman over the Scarecrow Challenge maps.
MGS Rising scares me. Hopefully the new, young developers now their Metal Gear.
All. You'll have your bases covered.
They ban everything Chinese that doesn't come from them. Commies, I'm so glad I live in a free country.
I prefer the original monster size since I like to compensate for my own shortcomings. But I can see how the slim is more attractive to both hardcore and casual consumers. But look at all the features it has. Definitely getting your money's worth
At least the PS3 got real AA and not quincunx. I think quincunx ruins the look of most games and is the main reason 360 games look sharper (sometimes). Overall though, a vast improvement over the original release.
I think part of what makes this game great is that it isn't sandbox. Taking place only on Arkham allowed more focused gameplay than having it take place in all of Gotham.
Wasn't Sony working on 3d tech for Blu Ray?
Yeah, red & blue 3d
You'll need red and blue glasses? I hate those. It barely passes as 3d. I tried to watch Coraline in 3D and it was just a red bluish mess. Had to swtich to normal.
I wish they would give us options. Either run it in 720p but with less effects or sub hd but with all the effects turned on. Kinda like how bioshock turned the v-sync off for a smoother framerate.
That kills the realism. Realism of weapons and its use is one of the reasons I was drawn to MW1.
Joker maps easily tips this one. It's great how it's exclusive to one system, cuz if they both had it, I'd be ripping my hair out deciding which to buy.
One thing that does bug me tho is the Scarecrow maps. Scarecrow uses a person's own personal fear against them. So with his challenge maps, are they saying that the Batman's biggest fear is undead skeletons?
I'd like them to do new animations for finishes. Some of them are the same ones used since the PS2 version.
I actually think Batman Arkham Asylum trumps Gears in terms of graphics. It's a game that performs just as well on the PS3 but can't touch Uncharted 2.
