Fair play to the devs for having the balls to make a game like this.
It does look hard hitting, shocking and over the top - but its just a game, an experience. One I'd like to play! If a game can make you feel so disturbed after one short trailer then it is obviously effective and done well.
Its kinda true though, my PS4 friends list takes 5 minutes to load ever since launch and occassionally it takes just as long to load a message and I have to hit refresh constantly.
I had an odd error with XBl earlier on Forza Horizon 2, I couldnt invite anyone - it said the feature was unavaliable but they could invite me.
Looks kinda fun, but I watched Major Nelsons stream of it tonight for about half an hour and I was bored very quickly.
All I really saw was grinding rails (Like a skateboarding game without a skateboard) and shooting orange monsters with wacky weapons (I like the weapons) and then more grinding rails...then grinding telephone wires...then more rails...
I'm gonna play this for sure, as I try and play as many games as I can - more variety the better - but ...
Im not sure. Resident Evil 4 wasnt scary - you're right. But it was alot more action oriented than TEW. Its like this is somewhere in the middle, but not enough of either.
I really like Horror - or atleast I think I do.
But I'm on chap 5 of Evil Within, nothings been scary yet (tense yes scary no) and its just not what I hoped it would be..
But like I said Im only on Chapter 5 so hopefully it gets better. It is pretty challenging though which is a good thing in my eyes.
Awesome! I start a new full time job in a week though, gonna have to cut down my gaming time significantly! Its already hard enough to get FF time with all the other games I have right now!
I usually respect all reviews as they are purely opinion.
But to say "Everything YOU thought it would be" suggests that we must all share their opinion, which is wrong.
I agree in terms of hardware.
But multiplatform, primarily-online games I will have to consider my choices carefully. Xbox Live has a better track record, atleast for me. So games such as CoD and any other online games I will to think carefully about before purchasing.
The hardware is great, but the network and Software/OS suck, and its like Sony aren't bothering as its selling anyway.
I'm playing my PS4 as I type this (FF14), but I do sometimes question my choice to buy most games on my PS when I see very little effort by Sony.
I love my PS4 but c'mon lets not be blinded by fanboyism here - the updates have all been crap.
Theres only been like 2, remember that "Huge" update? All it bought was that video editor - which you can only share on your Whats New or Facebook. Oh yippee.
I'm fortunate enough to have both consoles so I wont miss out on anything, but I would like it if both the consoles had some of the key features I use.

What are you talking about? "that block that shuts off audio or blacks out the film"?
The only console I've found that does that was the PS3. No problems on XB1.
Ive had problems with friends list and messages being ridiculously slow since launch, if I ever dare mention it I get called a fanboy or a troll.
But seriously, in this day of age messages and friends should be able to load without waiting 5 mins hitting refresh.

You would have gained nothing by waiting, except saving a bit of cash as obviously the price was a bit higher at launch.
Exactly what I was thinking..even if this bundle didn't exist shops make up their own bundles and I am 100% they would be doing that with a big game like GTA V. If it was a custom console Id understand.
I think the cutscenes look crap but in game I think the textures are really good.

I 100% agree with you. However it only takes one crime to be "linked" to this game, and the media/news have another reason to blame violence on video games.
But what people seem to ignore that the ammount of vioelnt crimes linked to lets say, alcohol (another adult product) is far higher than those linked to video games or movies yet no one is fighting for that to be banned.
