I didn't feel that way last gen.
I didnt have a 360 right away, but I had a PS3 at launch with Resistance.
Upgrading from a PS2 was huge. For the first time I played a game online, downloaded demos, browsed the internet on my TV, played arcade/indie title etc etc.
This generation doesn't feel much of a leap, I'm not complaining - don't get me wrong. I'm not even sure its possible to have such a big leap again, unless we could plug the consoles into...
Reading the comments makes me realise that most gamers are immature cry babies.
That's the reason I don't admit to anyone in real life that I play video games, its embarrassing to share a hobby with some of you.
All of a sudden you guys don't care about resolution.
Share play is an awesome feature, resolution doesn't both me and cant wait to try it.
I don't regret buying either system, but they both fall very short of my expectations.
I don't even know what I expected, but what I have is not a huge upgrade from last gen and even less couch co op.
The games have just started to get good IMO, Shadow of Mordor, Evil Within and Alien for example and finally plenty more coming!
Why the hell would you want that?
As a consumer surely you want as much free time as possible? What a pointless feature this would be if this was the case - they could just, you know...release demos!
Well that's clearly a lie, as COD:AW is completely different.
When I played it at EGX it felt and looked like a completely different game.
I guess you think any game that's first person and involves guns is the same.
Just started playing, looks almost as good as the PC version with top settings, maybe better. (I'm used to PC version heavily nodded so unsure how it used to look lol) new menus are nice and loading was super fast. I remember it being really slow before.
EDIT just booted up original xbox version for comparison, new version also has a new hud.
its so much sharper, better colours, just generally better looking by miles.
.
Buying it now even though I have the classic version.
I don't know why... just feel like I should lol.
Yeah man...Xbox could have had top games like Knack and Killzone Shadowfall :P
I joke, I actually quite liked Knack lol! Who cares how they spend their money as long as we get good games at the end of the day. With all the leading consoles in my living room, I dont feel Im missing out on anything - except PC exclusives but I just dont have the money/know how to keep a PC relevant.
Would make sense, more platforms = more money for devs/publishers...providing they sell ofcourse.
Awesome game.
Second favourite racer of all time, my top being Burnout Paradise. I'm not into serious racers, and Paradise was literally...well...paradise for me!
Finding things is almost like fate.
When Scarface came out on PS2, about a week later I found a copy of the game, in a plain white plastic bag beside the curb a few streets away. It was nowhere near any shops so no idea where it had came from, no chance finding who had dropped it so I took it home.
What an awesome game that was too!
On topic, I have never played a KH game, I'll try this one.
Need these? I haven't needed them for the past year and I don't now!
Lets sit back and watch the Sony Defence League come out in full force...supporting broken and unfinished games.
I'm sure the Microsoft Defence would act the same way if it was say...Forza but it wouldn't make it right.
Not everyone cares about resolution.
If someone wants a console with gamerscore (those with huge numbers from last gen care), Skype, Youtube, a real Twitch, constant updates, proper app switching/snapping, faster friends list/messages, the Xbox controller (matter of opinion but some prefer it), Kinect features (yes I know not everyone wants it, some do) etc etc then they will buy an Xbox One and who are you to call them an idiot?
IMO, the people who really care about ...
Resolution isn't a game changer.
San Andreas is still the best GTA, and what resolution is that?!
Weapons would of took away what makes Outlast scary.
If I could of attacked those pursuing me, or defended myself in anyway I would not have the same feelings of fear, isolation and almost hopless-ness that the game provided.
YES!
What happened to games working before release?
You cant deny it, it is pathetic this game was released like this. Especially after delays!
Some people just cannot admit, even Sony get it wrong sometimes. But no - you stick them up on a pedestal and worship them like a god.
Think what you like, but I play all my games on PS4. Ive played maybe 2-3 gMes on xbox one this year.
If you don't beleive me, and youre that pathetic look me up. XBL - Clown Syndr0me and PSN Clown_Gaming.
I'm on my PS4 everyday, but I still have my own opinions. I beleive those who scream fanboy usually fanboys.
