I remember when gaming was about the gameplay.
Im not talking just games. I use it alot for other things. My laptop died so I use it as an internet browser, use all the TV apps as I only have freeview, Youtube for my daughter and I love wasting time on Upload.
I play more games on PS4 at the moment, but I was talking general entertainment not gaming.
In terms of gaming PS4 looks better for now, but Im only a casual gamer these days.
Really? When my PS3 died it was swapped on my doorstep the next day. Im in UK.
That sucks man, but from past experience aim not too worried. My launch PS3 died from YLOD 13 months after I got it, rang up customer service and had a new one delivered to my door the next day.
Fair enough, each to their own. I don't have a good PC so having both consoles is great.
Titanfall? I played that for less than a week and haven't touched it since. Was kinda fun but no lasting appeal at all.

Nintendo doesn't need new hardware, it needs to justify its current hardware, ie the Wii U.

Im really shocked by X1 numbers to be honest. People are missing out. At present it provides much more entertainment for me than my PS4.
as long as everyone's happy that's all that matters.
As much as I like my PS4, online games will still be on X1 for me as XBL has always been more stable for me.
In the early days of PS3 I didn't even own a 360 but I bought one on a whim and never looked back, I found the upgrade in online quality outstanding.

Youre so right. Im one of those people though. I enjoyed COD up until about MW3, yet I still buy it launch day hoping that its good!
BO2 was pretty good though. I will buy this but not got high hopes, hopefully Ill be pleasantly surprised!
Alot of disagrees, but Im in the same boat. My DS4 gives me 3 hrs of straight gameplay and that's it. Maybe theyre faulty?
X1 has had solid updates so far, none of them have caused any issues yet which suprises me tbh. Don't use all the features but they don't interfere with the ones I do use so alls good!
Yeah I know I will end up buying it day one anyway and as Ive had a years break due to Ghosts being crap I may enjoy it!

Weird, I preordered both the X1 version and the PS4 version months back and never received any codes.
Every COD looked good, even Ghosts. I don't think I could make any judgement until I've played it.
I know right. I hadn't owned a Sony conSole for years and got excited when everyone kept saying how great Sony updates are.
Then 1.7 happened and I was like "Is everyone on crack!?".
Disagree all you like fanboys, but the official playstation support forum was flooded with complaints about broken social features after 1.7.
Atleast I was fair by saying it seemed to be fixed the next day!
