Totally agree. These are some of the reasons GTA V wasn't that great for me. Sure I got more than my moneys worth and it was a blast - but like GTA IV it just sits in the back of mind unlike San Andreas which is still the peak of the series for me. Vice City is memorable too for its locations and GTA 3 purely because it was the first 3D GTA.
I also miss the customisation in San Andreas. Nodding cars, getting fat etc..
Never got to play lineage but this is what I like about PC MMORPGs. So much support.
I doubt we will ever see a console MMORPG supported this long.
Wow last gens looks great. There isn't that much difference to be honest, atleast not for a casual gamer.
The leap of graphics this gen hasn't been that big just yet, if I wasn't obsessed with having the latest everything I wouldn't bother upgrading yet..
All a matter of opinion, far to pixellated to play on a PS1 on a 50". It gave me a headache from straining my eyes unfortunately.
I booted it up an hour ago on a smaller 19" TV as the article made me want to play it again and im getting on much better. Somehow the text seems clearer.
For me Sony single player games are better. But for a lot, online is all that matters, Halo and Gears have a huge fan base so the numbers don't really matter.
Lmao said exactly what I was thinking..
Just started playing this the other day for first time in a Loooong time.
Couldn't get more than 20 mins in, so dated now and virtually unplayable on a 50" tv. Shame.
This sucks, cannot install in the background like most games, gotta sit there and watch it...
Heists? Didn't think so.
Rockstar just lied to us all.
Stuff like this happens all the time. But as the internet and social media grows, more people hear about it and act as though its big and shocking.
Looks great, not enough difference to warrant a re-purchase though IMO. But I haven't played it yet, and have pre ordered it on PS4 because as long as there's a better version available Ill play it (providing I haven't already).
I cant, but I have never had my X1 and Ps4 on at the same time for a direct comparison, so its pretty difficult. They both look amazing to me, but I still play my PS3 and 360 often so compared to those, they are.
Good for PC gamers.
As for me, I don't care. I love my console collection, playing on the couch with my controllers. Oh and before some smart ass tells me I can use a controller with a PC, I really don't care.
Only games Ive played, or will play on PC are MMORPGs, and I used to play Age of Empires.
Biggest difference with phones is most of us are on contract and get a free upgrade after approx 18-24 months.
If I paid monthly for my consoles and would get a free upgrade when the next is released I wouldnt mind if they were more often. Although it takes atleast a couple of years before consoles actually get good. Were almost a year in and PS4 and Xbox One still have barely any games.
Ofcourse we will, as long as they make money. I just hope its not to soon. It will take a couple of years for this gen to reach its stride, so lets say 2016. Then it should be atleast another 3 years.
So I'd say 2020 would be alright.
It doesn't take an expert to say that the launch titles don't use PS4s full potential.
Look at PS3 launch titles compared to the latest games...
Work past 9? So...lots of people work extra hours. And who cares how many are women? Why does any of this matter?
Why do Activision bother hanging onto Crash, they do nothing with it.
Its sad, most of todays Crash fans are kids who don't even know about the originals.
7 months is more than enough time to implement simple features like folders.
Microsoft has managed to release monthly updates for all the stuff they failed to include at launch, successfully (for the most part).
Also Im always looking out for news about future updates, either Sony are very quiet or there isn't any news.
Im not sure how quickly or often PS3 updated as I only got one a couple of weeks ago.
Hunting was one of my favourite bits of Far Cry 3. Even when I had all the upgrades I still enjoyed sneaking through the bushes with my prey in sight..
