I'll never understand the mindset of quantity over quality. I'd rather pay the same amount for one great title over a bundle for the sake of having a bunch of games. If you're genuinely excited about the titles included in the game, great, but it seems like you're just focusing on the quantity of games.
Selling digital versions of games early and at a discount would migrate a lot of gamers to buy digitally, but Sony would also enrage stores that sell their physical games. Piss them off enough, they may choose to stop carrying your games altogether. Digital sales are rising fast here in the states, but most sales still com from physical copies. Sony has said that stores that carry their games are partners, and that they can't/won't do anything to undercut them.
I cannot wait to hear more about this amazing looking game.
"TLOU did not look like a breakout title..."
Sorry, what? TLOU's gameplay reveal was the highlight of E3 2012.
@goldwyncq TLOU looked had a positive reception at E3, but that doesn't mean too much. Sony and Naughty Dog were worried that reviews wouldn't be that great. Poor reviews mean less sales.
Lol, got excited when I saw this review. Thought the episode already dropped. Didn't help that when I brought up the game, it had an "episode 4" download link. I was sad once I saw that only episodes 1-3 were available.
It releases on August 25, one week before MGS V. Hopefully it won't affect sales too much. I'll definitely be showing my support, and will be picking up both games.
Wow, looks like it could be a lot of fun. I hope Morpheus succeeds, because I'd love to see this tech demo be turned into at least a smaller indie-scale VR title.
Wha--?!
Breathtaking visuals, moving soundtrack, gorgeous art, unique multiplayer, great length (not too long or short)...
Kind of curious what he/she had issues with, but don't want to give them the click.
Something tells me that if Journey was on the Wii U that you feel differently...
Forgot about Rapture. Already preordered
Ill be buying the dlc for sure. Have to support the dev team, because I've been playing the crap out of this game.
Adrift
Metal Gear Solid V
Until Dawn
I'll still be working on The Witcher 3 and Life is Strange
Remeber, lights off and headphones/surround sound on. It's an absolutely stunning experience.
The game looks brilliant on the ps4. I was blown away by how gorgeous the game looked, but when I looked at my screenshot I was like, "I can't believe I took this screenshot ingame!"
make sure you have the lights off and a headphones/surround sound on. It's an amazing game.
Especially now, with all of these huge open-world games. Just this year we have Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, Metal Gear Solid V, Fallout 4, Persona 5 (okay, P5 isn't open-world, but it's still going to be huge)
Bullcrap! Dreams looks breathtakingly beautiful. I have no idea how it plays, but I'm definitely intrigued.
Oculus Rift allows for porn, it just won't be on Oculus's store. Which makes sense. You don't see porn on Apple App Store, android store, Windows apps, etc, yet you can use any of those devices for porn. Oculus is just leaving the porn to those that develop it. Misleading title.
60" plasma is pretty nice, but it doesn't hold a candle to playing on a movie theater size screen... while being on the moon, or an arcade, or the playboy mansion. The possibility for themes are endless. In a future update, it's possible you could see an avatar of the online opponent youre playing against. And with Oculus Touch we can exchange gestures, like waving or giving the finger lol.
Oh yeah, Minecraft is going to be huge with the VR community.
