No I've bought my past few systems from Gamecrazy, and they've always had the same deal. It's a store incentive to get you to shop at their store. Anyhow I agree that most 8 hour single player games are rentals, but I think 5 days is more then enough to beat 99% of titles these days. Heck I beat Uncharted in one sitting, and so did a friend who came over the next day. It was a great game, but after that I had no real desire to touch the game again. That's why some kind of decent multiplayer i...
They both looked like extremely outdated to me.
Dude you gotta admit Oregon Trail was off the chain in like 1st grade though. It wouldn't make the list, but good times were had.
Sometimes I laughed, sometimes I cried, but I always made it past the river.
I don't think I'd have ever touched a computer otherwise.
MK a lot has changed since the older games. To say that this is not meant to be a multiplayer is totally ridiculous especially seeing as how it's shaping up, and how things do, and should change for the better. You guys are trying to make something that could only add to the experience a bad thing is beyond me. It's not like I'm knocking the game, but there are always things that can make games better. It's not like I'm saying it should be a multiplayer only either, but that should be an opti...
Every game could use multiplayer these days. Being able to explore these huge cities with other players online would be amazing, and could only add to the replay value.
Anyhow I can't wait to finally see this game in action. It's about high time they released some videos!
Besides RE4, which should have been much higher, this is the worst list yet.
And yet it's one of the highest viewed pages of the day. ha. Only on a gaming site.
What was the article about anyhow? Quick summery will do.
This game is gonna rock for sure. Now if only it had some sort of multiplayer options.
Someone needs to find this girl, and pay her large sums of money to do nudes. That would make a whole lot of interwebs nerds happy.
You actually bought Haze? Ouch. I can practically feel your pain..
Definitely the best trade in recorded history though.
Cant'stand'ja in your next life you'll be a manzier.
What I don't understand is why he's acting like which console he developed for was his choice. If I remember correctly there was a poll were the gamers decided which console NG series would be on, and xbox won. Anyhow I like his NG series a lot, and there's nothing wrong with being confident. We all have big dreams, but confidence is what sets those who do, and don't apart.
The Dark Knight will be the first Bluray I purchase. Movie of the year right there ladies and gents.
Just wait. They will.
Just like Mirror's Edge another game thats only option for originality is to throw in some useless feature that no one in their right mind would want. Yes it's the future yet we need weapons that destroy the earth in the most unpractical way possible to kill another person. Move aside sonic powered weapons or lasers of the future we've got earthquakes to make.
As I only own a ps3, and didn't care for the first Resistance I'll have to wait to play it to see if it lives up to the promises, and that I actually enjoy the gameplay this time around, but I'm not big on fps so I'm not expecting that to happen. If I still owned a 360 I'd have pre ordered Gears 2 a while ago as I was a huge fan of the first. Truly the only 360 exclusive I'm really missing at all.
Mesh/Poo must be the equivalent for 360 fanboys of the retarded brother you pretend isn't your brother when your mom makes you take him with you wherever you go. Seriously somebody put him on a leash. He makes you guys look worse than you already do.
This year, next year, still a bad idea. Just because it hasn't been done before doesn't make it a good idea. An action game in fp view is the worst idea I've possibly ever heard at least for gaming. What genius thought that was a good idea?
Exactly.
What's funny here is that most people here have only played one or the other, and are basing their opinions solely on, which console they own.
I've played both, and I can say that Gears was hands down the most addictive fun online multiplayer game I've played yet. The game play was extremely solid, and just fun to play. Resistance 1 on the other hand felt very dry, and mediocre, and wasn't that fun, and sure it had more players online, but it wasn't personal...
Well I've heard BB is getting more into gaming, but at this point are they giving away 12 free game rentals with the purchase of a system or selling systems at all? Anyhow I see what your saying people have been telling me blockbuster has better deals for a while now so I guess when my 12 free rentals are up I'll be heading over there.
P.S. If you get to play 1-2 hours a night you should easily be able to be a game like Uncharted in 5 days.
Oh, yeah, btw, Tool rocks....
