A lot of angry fanboys try to rationalize for Sony. Both consoles are awesome. So Sony has the "weaker" system. It is a huge leap from the PS4. That should be enough for a real gamer. No reason not to have both like I do now. We know Sony has the first party for now. Spencer says MS will make a thrust into that sector this gen. I look forward to what both have to offer.
We will just have to wait and see. Spencer says MS will not be the weaker console, any longer. Let's not forget that first XBOX was more powerful than the PS2. The current XBOX 1 Pro is the stronger console. Where MS is lacking is the first party software. Word is MS plans to make a major thrust into that market too. It should be interesting to see how Sony and MS compete this coming gen.
Cool. I do not think it will be stronger than the Series X, but it's equal if not a tad weaker. It is all about the games right. At least that is what fanboys say when their platform is the weaker version. LOL
Anyway...I will not buy either when they first come out as the first run consoles are always the buggiest and have the inferior hardware. Also they will be way overpriced.

I have both. Both have their strengths. MS has no illusions about catching up with Siny this gen. What they have to continue to do is regain the playerbase they lost with the disastrous DRM garbage. Many of Sony's sales are XBOX defectors. So, MS just has to continue getting back the gamers. It is doing a good job so far.
I gave up on CoD after they gave the finger to campaign gamers and just concentrated on the multiplayer ala Battlefield. But this one is actually supposed to have a good singleplayer campaign.
I might have to pick it up. My last CoD was MW3.
As a gamer with both consoles I could really care less if MS catches up with Sony this gen. As long as they continue to support the console like they have and continue to focus on the games, I am fine with the XB1.

Just some examples. The PC is the superior platform overall in terms of quality, and library of games. Period. Unfortunately, you have developers who do not take advantage of the platform's strengths. In this case, Batman AK suffered due to a combination of laziness, and poor judgement on the part of the developer....

No he should not be working with Sony. He should stay with the company and brand he has dedicated himself to and continue to improve it.
It does not have to beat the PS4 to come out a winner this gen. If XBOX and Microsoft prove they are realigned wit the gamers, and they have been doing so steadily with each tradeshow, then the XBOX brand will do just fine this gen and will return to be even stronger for the next.
I myself am planning on getting asn XBOX One in 2016 to go right next to my PS4.
