Took them only 3 years to finally have shortages in japan, lol. Despite the 360 poor sales in japan, u gotta give them credit that they are trying very hard to give japanese gamers games they want even if it is just a small success, compare there success for the 360 to the original xbox, MS has got to be pretty happy.

For a system like the ps3 80gb version to be bundled with MGS4 for 500 dollars and always selling out on amazon and best buys and other big stores, shows u alot of people out there want MGS4 but want a good deal to buy the system with the game. Seem to be selling out everywhere they get restocks of this MGS4 bundle. I think alot of people underestimated just how much of an impact MGS4 is and is proving that it can move major units of hardware alone. Great job Kojima and staff on delivering a masterpiece. :)
I mean why is new technology made for? Its made to be figured out by people wanting to see what results u can get out of the new technology. I find it pretty annoying for devs to say something is hard to work on like the ps3 but yet at the same time they knew it was coming and sony being a great hardware company, they shouldve known the ps3 was obviously going to have a new architecture. Coreect me if im wrong and im not trying to sound like no expert or a fanboy since I own all three systems. But I find it funny that these devs complaining are all third party devs but when asked a question like which system is more powerful, they say both systems are about equal or the ps3 has more proccessing power but the 360 has a better gpu? I mean wtf?

This is big news for us MGS4 fans. I mean just the fact that alot of people were saying that the MGS series wasnt a system seller and these sales of the high priced ps3 show just how much an impact a huge title can move consoles. I think its a smart idea, that way they know people will be trying to really create great levels where some random idiot might try an ruin it for everyone else, so this is smart in my opinion. I just cant wait to get this game and try this out already. :)
I aint suprised why people are looking forward to fallout 3. I think that is an amazing game. I mean just seeing gameplay footage and how big this world is and u get to do what u want to do in that world seems pretty awesome to me.
The game that I dont see what is such a big deal is, Left 4 Dead. I see nothing special about this game. It looks like another run and gun game but full of zombies. And I see some people saying that was Game of The Show? WTF. I mean come on man, Fall...
The thing is, is this author is the only one complaining out of the other few hundred authors who were also at e3 and almost all of them are saying LBP is set to change the way we play games for the future. If LBP can break the barrier for console games and devs also start adding user creativity into games like call of duty 4 or GTA4 can u imagine how huge of a step that would be for all console games. That would make the options for us gamers for every system an amazing feature.
I think if u are one of those who love Backward Compatability with an 80gb bundle with MGS4 in that bundle then this bundle is well worth the purchase but if u dont care about Backward Compatability, then I say wait for september for the new 80gb sku's with no BC in it that will be selling for $399.
Only area is japan where sales have been slow for MGS4 but every else, seems people been wanting to buy the bundle pack and amazon has been selling out everytime they restock the MGS4 bundle. Good to see people still wanting to buy more bundles. And people said MGS wasnt a system seller, lol.
They should start doing this everywhere. The reason I say this is because it makes the consumer know they are getting a great bargain because not only do they upgrade to the HD Era but they have the future Bluray Player which will show off the best quality movies for your home entertainment and is an added bonus if u are also a gamer.
That way it forces MS to make xbox live free. I mean I think buying there system and also paying foradd ons to support the system and new controllers and batteries and the games and also internet is enough and xbox live should be free. Let us pay for DLC. Because I dont see why I have to pay just to play online. This is why competition is good and if sony is successful with PSN and home and the ps3 is successful it will force MS to make xbox live free and then every gamer will be happy. :)
That is the funny thing is MGS4 was a great single player expirience and I agree prolly had the best story in a game this next gen but on the online aspects. Konami ruined it. Ill be honest I enjoy MGO but the service and lag fest in konamis's servers and website is prolly the worst ive ever seen in my gaming life. And I also think this one looks real cool aswell and I love how they use there ninja skills for certain situations and all but after playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm the combat system on there feels so smooth and fluint that u actually feel like u are in the anime.
I think this game will be still alot of fun for naruto fans who only own a 360. But I wished they stuck with the anime look instead of mixing up the real life look with the anime because it makes feel off and does...

I dont know where u are getting these numbers but from what I know GTA4 has yet to reach the 10 million sales yet and has only sold 7 to 8 million thus far which is very impressive but those number are obviously high since it did come out on the ps3 and the 360. MGS4 to have sold over 3 million copies and still counting for such a short time period and being on one system and is selling out of bundle packs in every store right now is very impressive for MGS4.
