Absolutely. Not everyone has 3 or however many other people to play with initially, but that doesn't mean we don't want to play with others. That was very frustrating and I hope they change that.

Of course that is the reason they delayed it, but look at Rayman for WiiU. It was complete and delayed for months which benefited the game ultimately. The reason for this delay doesn't matter, what matter is that this additional time will be used to polish the game even more. Thats a good thing no matter how you look at it.

Sucks about the delay, but I am glad they are getting out of the slaughter fest that is October. Still, if the delay gives them more time to polish the game than I am all for that.

I understand in this day and era why it is so easy to be cynical and if it wasn't for the interview with the developer talking about the game I would be there with you. But the enthusiasm from the developer and the things they are talking about delivering isn't about being innovative but completely realize a dream that we all have as kids and adults. The dream of exploration. The dream of being the first person to find something and share that unique experience with our friends.

I use to hold whole voice chat in the highest esteem back when it was just an idea. The reality of voice chat is something I don't care too much about. I am sure Bungie will implement some better form of voice chat, after all this is only the beta, but I am not overly hurt that their is a lack of voice chat options at the moment.

Every entertainment business does the same. The myth is that this sort of stuff only appeals to teenage boys and of course the gaming industry does it more than the other forms of entertainment.

The reality is that the gaming industry, as well as other entertainment industry and even non entertainment industry, uses these methods because they appeal to both MEN and WOMEN of All Ages and sexual preferences.

When people stop buying products that use this form ...

Read the article, she doesn't go on some self righteous trip and she is plenty calm. Her point is that it's annoying not to have the option to play a female in the multiplayer.

Exactly, she is criticizing them not being enraged over nothing. Too many of these articles are worded in such a way that they immediately set gamers against whoever is making the comment.

"But it did make me upset. There are so many female gamers...," she continued. "I don't know what the percentage is at this point but there are a lot of females that play video games and it would be nice to see stronger females in a game that are not just the damsel in distress, the love interest or she's oversexualised. She doesn't even necessarily have to be a badass. Just like a normal female character."

All she is saying is that it was anno...

Umm every game nowadays has some form of day one dlc as a perk for buying at a certain retailer. It's not EA, it's just how all business work nowadays. I am glad that they are being open and honest about the fact that you will be able to purchase that content later on. This way if you buy from Amazon instead of Gamestop you know you aren't permanently cut out of content.

I keep track of the headlines for N4G because I think it gives a very good trend of what is hot in the gaming world. From what I saw and continue to see, Sony is doing very well. Typically, the Sony articles are very positive and popular. For a while the Microsoft news was negative, but as of late there has been a good push for positive Microsoft content. Nintendo is barely represented, but during E3 they where very popular. N4G gives you a very good and honest look at the way gamers are feel...

Great article and I find it fascinating that despite the game being a success there are people who "couldn't be paid to play the game." I think that is just people being difficult, but it does create a situation where a lesser developer can get really annoyed and defensive. I am glad to see that these developers are able to handle that sort of thing well and I wish them continued success.

I wasn't originally into to Rogue likes before Binding of Issac, but that game made me a fan. Since then I have played Spelunky and Don't Starve, they are some of my favorite games. That's why I am really interested to see how those games affected the development of Galak-Z.

I love how Jake talks about loving to make games being one of his guiding forces as an indie developers. It is the passion from developers that really transform the industry because they aren't just make a game but a labor of love. You really have to wonder how much love their is in a large team of 300 plus people working on a game, but smaller indie teams are driven primarily by their passion for making games.

The art style really is fantastic. Games like this is what make indie development stand out.

The game really does look good. I remember wanting to try it when it was on current gen consoles.

I know some people have a problem with remakes, but they can stop the next-gen remakes right after they give me the Mass Effect next-gen remake with all the dlc and games included.

This is the difference between white collar crimes and every other crime. Instead of going to jail for years for stealing millions of people personal information and robbing them of their sense security he gets a big fancy, high paying job. Meanwhile, if you go break into someone's home while they aren't there you are looking at 3 to 5 years. Gotta love the how the world works.
