It is because of demand... also, if there is an issue with XB1s supplies, that would be really bad and troubling news for microsoft and for xb1 consumers, in terms of their machines reliability (RROD anyone?)
@tigertom53 you are right, but adults or older people are more interested in theoretical power, game resolution, hardcore exclusives, etc... that makes PS4 the right choice for them.
Anyway, I personally think that paying US$100 more for a 50% weaker system, just for the kids games, is not a very smart decision
You are right... xbox one is for little kids. The issue comes when YOU want to play hardcore games
This game looks amazing, however I have some doubts regarding IGN conclusions about their preview of the final build of the game:
"I am more curious than ever to see whether Ryse: Son of Rome can vary this rhythm enough to avoid tedium, or to at very least allow players to take some deep breaths and clear their heads."
Good cinematic screens, really good I have to admit
Actual gameplay, however...

"The key little features it boasts especially the impressive way you can share your favourite gaming moments to the likes of Facebook, Twitter or UStream..."
Strangely, I'm hyped for this
Poor xboxfag-onebubble boy... I play PC games but come on man! everybody can see the jaggies, contrast saturation and gamma saturation in xbox one version
Of course it is about humans, but I was talking about graphics in general, not for this game in particular. The whole industry is advancing a lot
The rumors: 50% more power
The facts: 50% more pixels...
I don't see any "slight" edge, just fact proving rumors
Man, I completely agree... that was shocking
This footage is not new

That is new... this game is looking almost CGI... I'm a little worried about how the graphics are advancing... uncanny valley approaching
What about Xbox360/PS3/Xboxone versions? (current gen I mean)

I play 90% of multiplatforms in PC, and in my personal opinion, Killzone Shadow Fall seems more "impressive" than Ryse

Why is this "a rumor" when we all saw the videos in which BF4 looked better on PS4? There is not a big difference, but come on, one system has a clear graphics advantage.
@Ashes2Ashes I'm from Chile, and I went to a big gamer event and the PS4 Crowd was literally bashing the x1 crowd, like 20 or 30 to 1
You are absolutely right... Xbox one + FIFA 14 vs PS4 + Killzone Shadow Fall + 2 controllers... now it is pure logic ;) sorry, my mistake
It is OBVIOUS that lot of people will buy xbox one... but a 2:1 ratio in UK is a lot. I cannot even imagine the ratio in Spain or Latam countries
Uhhh this is heavy information... but I'm not impressed.
Some people said that UK will be X1 territory because UK gamers preferred Xbox360, but that doesn't leads into the same decision for next-gen consoles. People liked Xbox360, but they are not stupid enough to paying $130 more for the X1. It is just pure logic.
@schubacca Halo at launch? Gears at launch? Titanfall is a timed exclusive, so you will pay US$100 more only for Forza? that's interesting
For Sony, it is because they are producing as much as they can, and they are all sold out (big demand).
Now, for Microsoft, it is a marketing strategy. They know that they will sell a lot less of xbox 1s compared to PS4s, so they ship less units than sony, bringing the retailers to get the xb1s sold out too. Then, they say in some interviews "all our xb1 are sold out, we are expecting the best demand since blablabla"
But if they both ship the same a...
