If halo was still a beast why won't M$ release the sale numbers for the game. Tell me you don't find it a bit strange that M$ won't release those numbers.
Trust me halo sales are declining. That's why you haven't seen those numbers yet.
I don't think any console needs to worry about anything. Especially the console that has sold over 20m console without releasing their top exclusives. Articles about console market is in trouble yet new consoles are still being released every 10yrs or so.
By the way the holidays are coming and people are most likely waiting.

M$ has yet to release the numbers for how much Halo sold, that's what interesting. If the game had sold like M$ thought it would we would know the numbers.

As a gamer you should care about sales. Sales are what keeps your console of choice on the market. Ask sega about how important sales are.
Trust me I'm a gamer. My 1st gaming rig was a Texas Instrument. The game cartrage had to be pushed into the keyboard. My 2nd gaming rig was a Commadore 64. Those used floppy disc.

You know why. They are embarrassed that the xbone is not doing as well as the the PS4. M$ has resorted to now giving attach rates, hours logged and combing hardware and software instead of actual sales data.

Kinect had nothing to do with it. The PS3 was $600 when it was released, yet it sold faster than the 360 at a higher price point. M$ was not ready for the release of the PS4. Sony forced them to release the xbone early, because M$ could not afford to let Sony get the jump on them.

I remember a few people on here swearing that when the xbone hits China, it would help them catch up to the PS4. The reason behind there logic was, the Chinese don't like the Japanese.
