I don't understand this hatred towards HHG. He tries to be different and innovative which is SO GOOD in that fanboy and bullshit ridden industry which gaming news has become. Even if he's wrong, come on... He's dealing with rumours. How many rumours are on N4G a day?
Before you bash him for his enthusiasm, recall that http://www.joystiq.com/2010....
Customization of code for X360 shows two possibilities: a) PS3 version will be optimized likewise with SPUs doing the work, b) PS3 version will just have all those features removed, which will result in another inferior port. Unfortunately, B is more probable as we learned from the past.
Since I saw a youtube clip from Demon's Souls in 1,5 hours, such articles make no sense for me. Also, Quake in 9 minutes and Fallout 2 in 15 minutes or so (due to a glitch).
Killzone 3 is almost full double-layer BD disc. I think Guerilla did what they could. I'll play through the campaign several times and spend hundreds of hours in MP anyway.
This game must be really good, speaking from how it's being bashed. GT5 was bashed likewise and it's...
But he's a liar. He lied about GeoW2 multiplayer bugs.
Depends on your age. If you're *teen, I'm sure religious reptiles and zealot midgets are the coolest thing ever.
I wonder why people are surprised again with review scores. How many of you read GT5 scores but despite them bought the game and enjoyed it? How many articles were there that reviewers are morons? Do you have such a short memory span? It's here again and will happen on and on and on.
Go to PS Store, download the beta, play the hell out of it. It's free. No fees, no charges. F-R-E-E. And in case you don't have a PS3. Well, then why would KZ3 be of your interest any...
That means Sony invest their assets in R&D and Microsoft just give them away to shareholders. Lack of core games and 1st party studios is one of results of such policy.
I'm a gamer not shareholder. My choice is obvious.
There are more PS3s in the world than 360s. I base this claim on the failure rate of early X360 consoles. Every unit they replace counts as sold too. If early models of X360 had failure rates of over 60% and early PS3s had failure rates of about 10% in a long stretch, just do the math and you'll see why EA, Valve and all those companies started playing nice with Sony. Because PS3 has already won in numbers of install base and will continue to widen that gap.
I don't need to read the article. I played Alan Wake and Halo:Reach. Those games are fun but technically speaking they look 3 years old if you look at textures. Alan Wake uses nice shading to compensate but when you see the houses' interior at day, textures cry of old. Reach uses some really nice AA and smoothing so it doesn't show off but the result is cartoon-style graphics. X360 could spawn more but nobody cares. Devs are just milking cows like CoD which people buy even if grap...
Does it come bundled with a bathtube?
"sticks and buttons like barbaric console owners"
Don't click guys.
Easy, man. I just didn't know. 2 player co-op is still fun.
Look at your teammates. I smell 4 player coop!
Phone quality games on X360 from now on. Great news indeed.
I do hate. If you pay $60 for a broken game, they will make more broken games and don't care because you pay for them anyway. It's destroying the industry, not keeping up to the standards.
On the article's title: so what?
I chose to play on PS3 after trying three platforms: PC, PS3 and X360 (in chronological order). I have my own reasons and I don't need to justify them. I prefer PS3, I like it, I don't like gaming on PC or X360. I don't care if you call me a fanboy or else. And particularly it's not publishers' right to do it. If they sell the game on PS3, for full price, it HAS TO WORK. Period. If it doesn't, screw you, lame people...
That's great news. Microsoft will totally go casual and leave core gaming to Japanese hardware where it all belonged from the beginning.
Mr Abney just lost some customers for his game.
Your enough is not enough for me and I think more people share this opinion so they buy PS3s.
It also proves that PS3 ports of most multiplatform games leave most of the hardware idle.
