I totally agree. People are expecting a huge change like it's the reboot of a series. IT'S A F**KING SEQUEL.The controls are imperative because this RE not F**KING DEAD SPACE. If people think this RE4 HD then MGS4 is MGS3 HD.Halo 3 is Halo 2 HD, Uncharted 2 will surely be uncharted 1.5 and God of 3 will just be god of war 2.5. why do people forget in sequels you don't change what worked,you make it better by expanding it.
The controls imo are what separate it from a dead space,gears or mgs. The fact that you cannot shoot and really ratchets up the tension. I think that tension will eventually be turned into terror later in the game. Having to run and get space to shoot at your enemy feels awesome because once you get him vulnerable it's super satisfying (i.e the executioner). It sounds like people want a dead space, but RE5 is different and certainly much harder. Umm to the comments about people saying it look...

L4d is better than that, and I'm not a fanboy but it really is better than that.It's at least an 8.9.But they gave fable 2 an 8.6,bk3 a 6.7,and absolutely rave about jrpgs even if they suck (LR and ID).IMO their reviews a losing credibility. Wathc bk3's review they rip the s*** out of it unnecessarily, I played and it wasn't even close too as bad as they claimed
Lbp and bk3!!!!Played both and can honestly these are the two most innovative platformers I've played in years!!Admitedly lbp is more of a block buster but bk3 is funny and pretty(lbp also)and fun.This site is dead to me before I even knew or cared who they were!!

Agreed,in fact in one of their bonus round shows he openly said that he didn't like at all. He was way to critical and didn't even enjoy the best part of the game, the vehicle building. he only gave the game props here and there because he had to so he wouldn't seem biased.Terrible review of a awesome game.Three things.One,a bad review shouldn't ruin the image of a game especially like n&b because it's a huge departure from the series roots and their will be a LOT of biased fanboy reviews...
