Original "core" 360 RROD'ed after 6 months, and then the refurb they had sent me suffered RROD after 10 months. 2nd refurb sounds like a jet engine taking off when turned on but still works.
Original 60gb PS3 got YLOD after 2 years, refurb still going strong.
I also have a jasper 360 and a ps3 slim and haven't had any problems with either.
I was only playing with the troll...it's better than feeding the troll. I actually enjoy and own all 3 consoles.
Sony's the only one thats released a "next gen" console so far.
