Art style is the most important aspect. Halo has never looked “great” technically but visually has always been pleasing due to its art direction. Except 4 and 5. Those were hideous.

Ignore them. They don’t know the games been playable for years with more to do than many AAA games.
I’m so tired of every game having the exact same features as every other game. Every games a hero shooter. Every games got a grappling hook. Every games got silly quips and marvel humour. Every games toning down the violence. Every games ripping out content to put it on a store. Etc. It’s so lame.
It did start as a battle royale. It’s pretty obvious. All the pieces are there.

Change the image. That armor is only got in the store. The one you get for free isn’t the one being shown everywhere.
The worst part is the battlepass is pretty useless. Something like 70% of the gear they showed off in all the trailers isn’t in the battlepass. It’s in the shop for $20/$25 EACH.

You used to be able to unlock tons of armor pieces just by playing the game for the past 15 years. Now it’s ALL paywalled.
Well of course it doesn’t look next gen. It’s not a next gen game. It’s been in the works for 6 years with the Xbox one in mind.
I don’t see it lasting 10 years though. Unless the engine is future proofed a bit and they drop last gen but they want to reach as big an audience as possible.
