I am wondering if Play are talking about the same game as I think they are?!?!? I played the demo of folklore recently and it convinced me not to buy it.
I thought it sucked.
If Game are really happy about this will they prevent their fat, ginger bearded, spotty, idiot staff from trying to sell people 360's when they are asking about PS3's?
Apparantly there is a certain Game store in Bristol where this is rumoured to happen a lot. The culprit is a ginger bearded spotty salesman according to one of my staff.
I would prefer a baby-killing-monster-making game but that would probably give the censor a heart attack.
If they do release this game do you get a free pack of tissues and a special 'mum approach proximity alarm' bluetooth headset?
I prefer Soul Calibre but will probably get this anyway purely to kick arse online.
The gameplanet link says pretty much the same as all the other links for this topic. I dont think there is anything useful to say about EOJ now until it is released and we get some user feedback.
Mine should be delivered on 26th Oct and that coincides with a day off work :o) I will pop a review on the forum as soon as I have had a taste.
I honestly do not think for one moment that ads will make the slightest difference to the game. I don't walk down the street in real life worried about the contents of the nearest billboard or the bus with a movie advertised on the side.
Let them advertise. Perhaps even sponsorship. For example what if a range of furniture for your apartment was identical to a range supplied by Ikea, MFI, DFS or another store. As long as any money from the sponsorship was reinvested in the ...
I thought the demo was a bit dull. Not much to do.
Poor choice of a demo mission in my opinion. I will probably wait for this to go second hand or cheap on eBay. Not inclined to pay more than £20 for it.
The chances are that it is built on an old pagan site as per most old Christian buildings in the UK. The odd reference to Pagan deities would be a welcome reminder of the less corrupt old days.
Chriswsm - Pagan and Proud (for the last 24 years).
There is no way Jack Thompson would make a donation to a church and not tell everybody (whether they wanted to hear about it or not).
Apparantly Jack has been proved sane by some shrinks in the US. How on earth do you consider a person that religious to be sane? We need to find out where he lives, club together and buy the house next door and then beg Richard Dawkins to move in as his neighbor.
I think I just invented a new reality TV show. "Athiest vs Go...
This makes sense for anyone not concerned with the backwards PS2 compatibility and not worried about the few hardware reductions.
I have used Ps2 games only a few times (Soul Calibre 3, Hulk, GTASA)
I have used the SD card slot on occasion but I would not miss it all that much (and could use a usb dongle).
I think this is a logical move by Sony and I hope it pays off.
I think blu-ray was a good move for the PS3 for its data capacity.
As far as movies are concerned I think it and HD DVD are pointless a they do not outperform DVD quality by all that much.
Oh I see.
That makes everything alright then :o) I will add to my Blu-ray collection (Xmen3/Casino Royale) as soon as they stop making the much cheaper and nearly as good DVD's of which I have about 60.
I do rent the occasional BR from easycinema seeing it is the same cost.
I look forward to the faster than light travel
I hope no one takes any notice of religious loonies. That stands for all topics, anywhere, anytime.
Average religious building = pleasant architecture, nice acoustics, full of people that believe in stuff that is more illogical than the contents of your average RPG.
The only thing worse than organised religion is a democratically elected government that allows itself to be influenced by organised religion.
I recommend in the sequal of RFOM they s...
The game sounds great. Sadly it is a FPS on a console which is never a good thing in my opinion due to the limitations of the joypad.
I will check it out if they do a demo but I am not hopeful.
Release it on PC and it will find its true home.
The Vid is entertaining, will D/L the demo tomorrow and give it a shot. Fingers crossed for many a LOL.
40+ hours indicates that the game might be a lot less linear that I feared. Lets hope it is not 40 hours of the same old, same old.
If you can run around and do what the hell you like such as pick on guards, start fights, memorise patrol patterns, learn your way around your environment freely without time limits (outside of set missions) then this would be brilliant.
One of the things I loved about the GTA franchise is that you can run around and find interesti...
I had a go at the demo when it came out. It was very dull. The demo guaranteed I would not buy the game, in fact I would probably not bother even if it was free.
Way to go....
Congrats on the daftest title for an article anywhere ever.
Whats next?
Blu-ray proves existance of santa
Blu-ray clones elvis
Blu-ray provides faster than light travel
Its just a bloody DVD with slightly better image quality, more storage, higher price and a pretty blue reflective surface. Nothing all that special. Same goes for HD DVD.
Who cares if this is true of not? GTA is becoming a tired franchise nowadays.
Having said that I will probably still buy it :op
There is a Limited Edition Box Set with 4 Exclusive Art Cards mentioned on Play.com but I get the feeling this is not the same as the collectors edition which is supposed to have a figurine of Altair. It can be pre-ordered for £39.99
