For every expert there is an equal and opposite expert
I just ordered both. Nice discounted offer there Amazon. I get the feeling some folks will order several and sell on Ebay or Game stores.
As for the delivery day I recommend going by the website order log rather than the email which is obviuously incorrect.
Mine says:
Items not yet dispatched:
Delivery estimate: 19 Oct 2007 1 of: Lair (PS3)
Delivery estimate: 11 Oct 2007 - 12 Oct 2007 1 of: Folklore (PS3)
Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L.
LOL I never read the agree/disagree things as I care not but someone seems to be a serial disagree clicker (please disagree with me).
*Get back on topic Chris*
As for the special edition. Special box, couple of comics, 'how to' guide, making of DVD and a tin figure of the char.... who actually wants this stuff? Who would use it?
For a special or collectors edition I would like something that actually makes a difference to the game rather than an expensive...
Face to face fair fight could go either way.
Unfair fight = Ninja
And this could be a fun title :0)
I can safely say that I will be getting this game.
Still wondering whether to go PS3 or PC with it tho.
Bring on the Demos.
I would never argue with Ian Livingstone. The warlock of firetop mountain has spoken.
Methinks it might be prudent to leave it a while. At midnight the servers are gonna be swamped. Downloads will take forever.
If they have sex in the game then they should consider all the possible related diseases as well. Could become educational. LOL

The best way to stop kids/teens finding porn on your computer is to lock it and send them out to play in the fresh air.
That way they can look at porn on their friends computer instead, or mobile phone, or DS lite (if you have the right tools).
These barriers are only worthwhile if they are totally unbreakable (unlikely) and if EVERYBODY uses it on every possible piece of hardware (even more unlikely). On top of the unbreakable universally used software you then ...
I am not washing that car. 100,000 polys would take all day.
Gabe/Peter makes a few good points but his view is very one sided. If it is so easy to program for PCs how come HL2 EP1 was one big crash frenzy (check out the valve forums). I am a big fan of PC games but at least with a console the hardware/firmware/software is consistant and you are expected to have a perfect product upon release. PC's are all over the place with compatibility issues and odd setups so post release you are using your customer base as beta testers (Windows ME is the perfe...
I neighbor of mine works for GAME stores in the UK (he lives about 30 feet below me). He is not aware of Creed being released anytime soon ~(mid-late November is what he has been told). And as mentioned by our Irish correspondant there is no bumf in stores to advertise the game.
There is also a lack of playable demos which is a must for me as I dont know whether to get it on PC or PS3.
Even the pre-order evil monkeys on Ebay are not stating anything this sid...
Dr Kawashima says: Your brain is very old.
I say: Yes but at least I have a neck you freak.
Also if you say "Glasses Glasses" into the mic of the DS his glasses bob up and down. How the F*** does he do that? He doesnt have any hands.
**Shudder!!!**
I think the interviewer did what the BBC did when they accidently interviewed a Taxi driver about the Apple Ipod issues thinking he was some bigwig from Apple.
I bet this chap does not work for Sony, he was just in the building changing the water bottles when the interviewer pounced.
Fingers crossed for something creative and fun that is NOT a FPS as the market is flooded with quality FPS already and IMO FPS just doesnt work well on a console joypad.
Wow really went to town with the FPS's in one sentence....
I will consider everything except Singstar. The very thought of Karioke just makes me want to reach for the flame thrower. Will prob give wipeout a miss too as I didnt like the original.
It is nice that it is coming to EU first and I already have a Digital TV recorder but I like the idea of recording two channels and watching a third (my tv is also digital receiver).
As far as getting this service to go global this could be an issue. Many places do not have digital TV so the only other option would be to use an analogue receiver and a converter to whatever file type the PS3 will use to record the files. Sounds awkward.
1: All your base now belong to us
2: It would when it can but we also unfortunately not know when it can or would.
3: Online tranlsation facilities still have some way to go.
This is simple . . . lets wait to the end of January 2008 and look at the sales figures for Xmas. Can't get any easier than that.
Now where can I find an interesting topic to read?
Gabe Newells slates consoles and then Valve praises their power.
Odd that.
