It's not that it wouldn't work... It's that the 1st one was not all that much fun and seriously overrated.
4K and 8K is absolutely NOT doable on a console. Not next gen. And most likely not the gen after.
I'm going to outright assume that you do not know that in order to have 4K or 8K VR gaming, means that you must be able to produce a 4K or 8K resolution per eye. In laments terms, twice the power is needed.
First and foremost, PS4's VR is succeeding because they have the frame rate done proper. Sure the resolution might take a hit, but trying to do 1080p or (for stupditiy's sake) 4K at a frame rate that doesn't cause nausea... is absolutely impossible!!!
Only the highest end PCs with the best shiznits and whatnot can currently obtain such. And they are by far less than 1% of the PC VR community.

Japan has a extremely strict censorship policy about genitalia in any form of media. In fact, producing and selling any form of media without proper censoring can lead to hefty fines and possible jail time.
I really don't understand the stigma against boobs and violence in games. But that being said, if you're going to censor one thing, you might as well censor everything.
