I'd blame it on EA and VALVE not agreeing. I, myself, am waiting for it to be released on Steam. Mostly because EA's downloader and launcher is rather shoddy in comparison.
It's no surprise because a majority of PC users, like me, are waiting for EA and VALVE to get their act together so we can purchase it for Steam instead of EA's cumbersome digital downloader and launcher.
Oh... and of course, digital sales aren't posted. But we all [should] know that.

Concerning #9 - My sniper rifle reloads super slow, but hey! it puts big holes in walls. And besides, I see nothing wrong with rocket propelled sniper rounds.
If you want a real challenge:
Make a no-armor, no-weapons, no-magic fighter with high acrobatics, unarmored, block, hand to hand combat, and alchemy attributes and skills. Then go through the game without picking up a single weapon (not even to sell) and only use potions to restore health and stamina.
Such a character created, by far, the most enjoyable play through on Oblivion and I'm certain it will be the same for Skyrim.
What about Sony Entertainment and Netflix/StarzPlay? Corporations disagree all the time. Especially when concerning similar forms of media. Thus, a dispute between two major console makers is nothing but OBVIOUS!
