So now we're comparing sales of a game that came out on Xbox 6 months ago to a game that came out on PS4 2 weeks ago? Makes sense.
EA decided to alienate the PS4 community and limit themselves to only one console for a short amount of time and now the lower overall sales are coming back to haunt them.
I can see the point the article is trying to make. I personally know many Xbox 360 fans that migrated over to the PS3 in the last few years. And now in the new gen, they all went with the PS4. I even have one friend specifically that was a *hardcore* Xbox 360 fan last gen, that picked up an Xbox one at launch. A few months ago he decided to get a PS4 and now he barely plays on his Xbox one anymore. All of these longtime Xbox fans have helped boost PS4s sales one way or another.
Congrats to Nintendo. Everyone thought by now it would be in 3rd place behind both PS4 and Xone. Good to see it still holding strong in 2nd place behind the PS4. Last gen I had a PS3 and 360, but this gen I decided to go with PS4 and WiiU instead and I have not regretted my decision since.
@gootimes - it amazes me as well how some people like to use the "PS4 has no games excuse". It's almost as bad as the "PS4 is in 100 countries" excuse...even though both consoles are already available in all the major markets like US and UK which make up the majority of both PS4 and Xone sales (and PS4 continues to already outsell the competition in those markets).
PS4 is off to an incredible first year. Congrats to Sony.

Same here. I picked up the PlayStation Gold Wireless headset the day it was available and they have been great ever since. I will admit these COD edition Turtle Beach's look cool, but im more than satisfied with my Golds.
It's great to see Sony and Microsoft giving so much strong support to indie studios. As much as some Xbox fans used to love bragging about XBL indie arcades last gen on the 360...it's disappointing and very sad to see those same xbox fans now bashing indie games this gen, simply because more of them are on PS4.

I originally played this game with my friends on PC. But now with even more of my friends playing it on PS4, I would love to pick up the PS4 version down the road. Such an awesome game. Good to see it performing so well on the PS4.

All day long, xbox fans tried using this nonsense as an excuse to bash PlayStation. Now it's affecting Xbox as well. Now is the time for everyone to drop the ridiculous fanboy bickering and unite as one cohesive gaming community to show these mischievous online groups that we will not be shaken by their foolish attempts to get attention. Because at the end of the day, the only people being inconvenienced is us.....the gamers.

This is a great opportunity for all of the new PS4 owners that came over from the Xbox 360 and missed out on this incredible game on the PS3, to enjoy one of the best games of the last generation.
@MichaelLito - You need to actually read why everyone is disagreeing with you. Once again, no one is disputing the fact that X1 releasing in more markets will help boost sales. However, everyone is disagreeing with your claim that those smaller markets will almost double X1 sales from 5 million to 9 million in the next couple of months. Especially since you keep ignoring the fact those smaller markets X1 is about to launch in have historically always been stronger markets for PlayStation anyw...
If the writer wants an Xbox.....just go buy an Xbox. Why does he need our validation? Same way I'm sure many Xbox owners would like a PS4 or WiiU.
