Its not needed and is easily shoot down in a ray of X-Wing Fire. If anything they write an article about how MS missed a massive opurtunity to release a custom LE fallout bundle and really compete, not whack a sticker on a box and call it a day.

BC is a great feature and will be something to consider for new console buyers, but it won't 'sell' consoles. It's 2 years into a generation. It's not a game changer at this stage.
So has your XBONE been 'in its box and tucked away in the closet' for the last 13 months (last AAA exclusive was Sunset Overdrive, remember Halo Masterchief Collecion, Gears and Rare Replay are remasters and they obviously do not count in your opinion)
Now please list games like Ori etc, then I can reply with a list of amazing exclusive indie and downloadable games which better yours in quantity and quality.

But the 'real world' will be buying MGSV Fallout 4, Halo, Uncharted Collection, Black Ops, Battlefront and Sports Games (Madden, FIFA, 2k). They are the games the 'people outside this website' buy in huge quantities, not Tomb Raider (evidence, the last 8 or so years of sales data and the last Tomb Raiders sales figure, which launched on 2 consoles, one of which sold ALOT more copie...

Will be remembered as one of the best consoles ever.
It had EVERYTHING.
A horrible launch, rocky first 12 months where many thought it was on life support.
Then the exclusives hit and everything changed, it became what many might say in a few years is the best exclusive machine this side of the N64.
From there it just continued to get better and maintain quality.
The support continued to this day, something Sony should be commended on....

What's there is 3 amazing full 10+ hour single player masterpieces for the price of a new release.
If that's not enough, don't buy it. Simple. 99% of the people who complain about no MP or Golden Abyss are known trolls, comment history proves as much.

I prefer a great delayed game over a not great rushed game. You also raised some great points I have never thought of with delays, the delays causing the game to feel outdated.
I think from that bunch, FFXV and Mirrors edge could fall victim to it.

A bit ironic when so many XBONE gamers said COD was dying and they were 'over it' etc etc when Sony got the exclusive rights.
Now there are rumours of more pre orders on the XBONE and a victory parade is being created.
