Personally I don't need 4k ultra settings with 120fps but at the same time if I'm gonna invest in a PC I'd want to make sure I got the absolute most bang for my buck. That's where my problem arises. I don't know nearly enough to be comfortable buying and building from scratch, and the people I know that claim they can build a PC are constantly whining about how f'd up their computer is...

Add to that being married to a fiscally responsible woman and t...

If only I knew anything about building a PC...But I don't, and I will never pay some absurd price for anything from Alienware, so it looks like I'll be missing this game

"try playing a game that was never created."

I was in need of a good laugh, thanks for that

Your sorry excuse for an education is what's really gonna ruin things for everyone. Honestly, if you don't know how to spell something, open a tab and type it into Google. That way you can at least spell at a third grade level before playing keyboard warrior on the internet

Only thing I don't like about this demo is the instant choke out with the rifle and the death animations. The original Brothers in Arms did them perfectly, you shoot a guy and he drops like a pile of rocks, yet I can't think of many other games that have done that instead of having some canned animation. And the choke out should at least be a QT event or something...Overall though I'd say those are small complaints in the grand scheme of things

The shooting mechanics look better but still don't seem all that great, which I hope changes because I really like the setting and bits of story I've seen so far

I'm actually hoping the story is an over the top cheesefest. Sure it can try to be serious, but there's enough serious horror games out there. I'd like it to be like Scream, scary but not taking itself too seriously. Have some scares, some gore, a few laughs, and the ability to make terrible decisions just because you want to see what will happen

Yeah unless the Star Trek holodeck comes out in the next 10 years I'll stick to playing on a console.

I had some serious problems getting into a game while in a party today (before the friends list went down briefly) but solo I had no issues. Also had the uneven teams like you said, but chalked it up to the other team having 2 sets of split screen players.

Only issue I've had in the campaign has been an audio glitch with a plasma pistol. After killing a grunt the pistol drops to the ground buts keeps bouncing in place, rapidly replaying the sound it makes when it's d...

How pathetic is your life that you threaten someone elses over a game?

@Digital and Dante

Yeah I won't argue that AAA games are any better, but the plus side of the AAA games is that you usually get a good amount of previews that help you decide if you're interested before release. With the vast majority of indies you don't have that luxury.

I'm glad Microsoft is taking a different approach this gen (can't speak for Sony, only had a PS3 for Metal Gear) because while I'm willing to give any style of game ...

9 out of 10 indies usually are garbage though. I'd much rather have a small selection of quality titles than be flooded with garbage like on the 360. Games like Limbo or Hotline Miami are few and far between

I wouldn't say they're filled with Sony fanboys but I would say they're filled with people that whine like children far more than they should. Just like every other website or forum in the history of the interwebs

20gb of patches? No

15gb to download the rest of the multiplayer stuff they couldn't fit on the disk

1gb worth of actual patch

Also played all 4 campaigns and didn't have a single problem you mentioned. But what do I know? I'm just a random guy on the internet

How much of a hassle is it to set up headsets like these? Until recently I've had no use for them but due to a schedule change I do most of my gaming in the middle of the night. Can't enjoy glorious surround sound at minimal volume so if these are easy to set up and switch between consoles I'll give them a go

I would enjoy them if the videos weren't private and the article existed

I'm interested in this game, and I am by no means a "twisted individual". Nor am I "scum". But I see you're a judgmental prick from your comment.

It is just a game, regardless of how many times you or anyone else tries to say it's not, that's all it is. It's just like killing people in GTA, which you can do all day long if you want to. I don't care if the game doesn't intend for you to do it. Everyone that's ever played GTA ...

I just need the service I pay for to work. Any game I'm interested in I buy, sometimes regretfully, but I don't expect or need free AAA games to make me happy. I will admit though that I have gotten a few games for free that I otherwise would never have tried, and really liked them (Guacamelee being the top of that list).

However when I fire up a game and PSN or Live is down, or multiplayer is working but friends lists aren't, I get fairly pissed off. It seems to...

I love my Xbox but I can't say I'm sad to see this studio go. Sure I'd love to have a Gears of War show some day, but I'd also rather have Microsoft team up with HBO or Showtime to make them. They already have tons of talent from all aspects of TV under their respective wings, all they need is a budget and some freedom to write a story without Microsoft hounding them at every turn (like what was rumored with the Halo movie years ago)

Disclaimer: I don't kn...

The reason Gamergate is getting thrashed in the media is because everyone that supports it is spread all over the internet. Everyone against it is either running the websites printing the articles or has the ear of people running said websites.

Someone more computer savvy than me, maybe one or several of the big time Youtubers, needs to create their own website in order to pool the whole Gamergate argument into one collective area.

Post the relevant informa...
