The problem with MCC in my opinion was that it was made by 5 or 6 studios..The Halo 5 beta was incredibly stable for a game roughly a year from release. Add to that that the maps and gameplay were better (in my opinion) than Halo 4 and I think Halo 5 will do just fine.

Dead Island, even with it's flaws, one of my favorite games ever made solely because of the coop. Up until then I was pretty much solely competitive, but after that I've found myself steering clear of games with no coop goodness. That's how I feel. If I use something like Oculus or Morpheus I'll lose my shit because I have to be aware of what's going on around me (holdover from deployment life)..Plus I have kids. I love the original Halo games with a passion, but after jumping into the MCC again after the beta the slow movement speed drives me insane. I'll still play it happily, but I never understood allowing a set-up like bumper jumper, where you can move around the entire map without taking a single step, jumping 8 feet in the air, but you can't sprint...
My only issue is the sword. Takes up half my screen and is blindingly bright when equipped. Other than that though, it's gonna be hard to go back to MCC after this

Master Chief Collection had a 20gb download that much is true. But, it wasn't a patch, it was all the multiplayer content they couldn't fit on the disk. It's had a lot of patches, but nowhere near 20gb worth. The initial patch was 1gb, the rest have been nowhere close to that. I'd prefer to have a game work at launch as it's intended, but if it doesn't I'd rather them patch it and get it working then to say f*#k it.
