as an answer to lame blogposts
surprise. they needed 2 switches stuck together go make it run ok-ish. the only way they could make this game run on that underpowered excuse for a console was to remove 70% of the engine. i heard switch users don‘t mind when their games get butchered.
it feels in parts like an early beta version somehow. the ui is looking very ugly and unfinished. but the racing engine is very good. like the first one. the game is fun and the grade is alright. biggest plus is that there is no multiplayer portion. they want to deliver it at a later date but i couldn‘t care less about that.
if i wanted to play these kind of games i‘s get a switch. but actually i‘m glad the gamecube era is over. no need to re-get this.
i stopped buying after the first one ;-)
yeah another article about vaporware!!
not really. because fallout 4 was a really bad game. boring asf. and zero ambiente. rip fallout.
so they‘re like a heroin dealer who is only selling the bad stuff to the customers but would never take it themselves because yikes. well thanks. stopped using steam almost a year ago.
cool.another article about vaporware. way to go, bloggers *thumbsdown*
i have never ever seen anyone playing this in my buddylist i guess except 1 dude and he is a wellknown game renter. i can‘t imagine that they made substantial money with this reheat. unless the effort was zero to port the game. which i suspect.
no one cares for crossplay except for a very small fanbase. no problem here.
there have been too many walking dead games that were not worth the dirt under the fingernails. so i somehow doubt this one will be good.
i have yet to discover a hybrid machine on this planet that was not a total mess . why should this n-gadget be different. makes no sense.
this is also my opinion of this game
i already was a bit worried about this relatively
low grade but after reading the article i am confident that this game is going to rock for the usual 4-5 days to maybe a week. which is all i‘m asking for these dark gaming days.
the blogpost sounded more like he or she was reviweing a call of duty game. complaining about stuff that is part of the franchise and so on (if you don‘t like shooters don‘t review them, if you find arcade racers boring dont review them).
...
i‘d say it was the forced online portion. such things are always boring beyond belief. maybe it was that concept no one found interesting and after all, what do the kids of today know about friday the 13th. this whole
product was a brainfart that for some dubious reason got greenlighted.
spyro was lame back then and it is for sure now. the only thing that is going to move units is by people who are hopelessly blinded by nostalgia.
you know, your admitting it now just makes it all the more despicable. when you very well knew what ToaS you produced and in spite of all its flaws you tried to cash in on it anyway. i will keep my wallet closed firmly if your name should show up anywhere again.
what kind of developpers? developpers to code a new sports licensing model? because it surely can‘t be game developpers as they are not serving this segment anymore in a professional way.
it is not the fact that online portions will be in there that makes me ignore this game. it is the fact that i have yet to encounter an online game that is not overly dull. i prefer AI any day. AI can be programmed to surprise me as a gamer. Humans are not capable of that. It‘s always the same behavior. And the online game modes of today couldn‘t be more boring. Thanks for nothing, Beth.
