I was thinking the same. With FFXV just around the corner.... 6-24 months from now (hopefully) why sell now. Then again, SE has shown almost hostility and disdain for the PS brand throughout most of Gen7, so it can be understandable that Sony would feel it's time to part ways with an unstable and unreliable "partner". I kinda wonder what took them so long now that I think about it.
Anyway, great news for Sony.
The killed games such as 1313, Battlefront 3, and this game... yet they gave the green light to Star Wars: Kinect?!? Someone was smoking some Northern Cali at Lucas Arts. If they had released these games they would not have needed to sell the ranch.
multiple accounts by Microsoft's PR dept. N4G got a fresh batch of agents this month it seems. Either that or all the XBots have gotten tired of Titanfall already. It's starting to look a lot like 2008 up in here again.
From what I've seen on N4G the past week or two, Microsoft is fighting Sony the same way they fought Apple for so many years. Just change Vista to XBOne and Apple to PS4 and you get the picture.

You do realize AMD made the chips that are in the XBOne and not Nvidia. Unless your saying that MSoft shared some unreleased Nvidia tech with AMD YEARS ago, which would give AMD a huge advantage. Therefore one could also conclude that since AMD made the chips for both consoles, that the PS4 would also likely see performance gains from DX12. See how that works by your logic.
I think I'm going to conclude that Nvidia knows what they're saying when they say new hardware ...
The only thing bad about Blitz Ball is that Red Bull and the X-Games haven't figured out how to bring it to real life.
Good point, The thing that makes the "Last of Us" so good is that it shows how Joel developed fatherly love for Elle. We usually forget that there are types of love based relationships that don't involve sex.

No ppl have been giving MS crap about making a gaming console into a cable box.
Also, Sony announced that they would be making original shows at the PS4 reveal which was before the XBOne reveal.
I just hope all the ppl leaving SSM are going to start a new studio... the world needs more great games.

I couldn't agree more about the bots. They are harmless enough you want to ignore them, yet they will give away your location so you can't ignore them.
Only way to salvage the bots would be if each pilot lead a 2-3 bot team that would actually follow them with wall running and jumping across rooftops. If you could give them commands such as "Attack my target" or "defend this position", then they would actually be a boon to the game. I'd rather ...
so true, thus why I'm so glade the "parity" clause has been thrown out the window on Gen8 consoles.
