Played lots of sabo this weekend since Raven has/had SVERs contract. So not only did we get double xp, we also got 20% more xp as well. I also learned the best way to defend our sabo base.
All I can say about MAG is that squads are starting to learn the maps and the everyone is stepping up their game. No longer are the vets outnumbered 20:1 and more people are getting mics, this makes the game so much better than it was a month ago.

Thanks for the heads up on the MMO front and I kinda knew there was more behind to the update than just "Other OS" removal.
My biggest grief with this patch is the short notice. It would be nice if they released the patch, and you had the option to not install it until the next update is released. This would give more people time to way out their options as well as find the best solution to back up their game data and such, yet still continue to game online.

I figured Sony would support Homebrew and Indy devs using the linux side of the PS3 to keep them from focusing on hacking the Game OS.

I like the basics behind the battle system. Just remove the autobattle feature, and grade battles based on damage taken overall, and allow me to change chars on the fly and I'd be happy.
I kinda like the fact that you only have to control 1 char at a time, which makes it feel like FF12 with an auto gambit system. The paradigm shifts are a nice touch as well and adds a nice bit of strategy to battles.

GOW3 has a plot that even a 10year old can follow, with a few twists but otherwise it's straight forward. The funny part is, although you go over the same maps twice and they are more or less linear, you still have more fun exploring than in FF13.
Granted I only played FF13 for 10+ hours, but in the first 1 hour of GOW3 I did more exploring than in the whole time I played FF13. So the other 11 hours it took me to beat GOW3 was pure bonus.

They will just need to upgrade the cam to be 720p at 120fps and it will drastically increase the accuracy and will keep the lag to roughly < 1 frame. I would say it will reduce lag to 0.5 frames, but I expect gen 8 consoles to do 1080p at 120fps native.

However, they can detect X and Y axis motion as well as the size of the PSMoves glowing sphere which allows them to extrapolate the distance of the PSMove to within 1 centimeter at up to 10 feet. 1 centimeter is the width of an adult finger, which is only discernible by Natal when your around 3 feet away from the cam.

I'm surprised they didn't mention how much of a success FF11 has been. It's currently on both the Xbox360 and the PS2(BC PS3s as well I think). Last I checked it's subscription based and still has a decent following.
Ohh and believe it or not, PSHome could be considered an MMO. Yea it's not a WoW clone, but it does fit many of the MMO criteria.

Yet they will say how dept and emotional Sam is. They will not acknowledge the fact that Kratos undergoes some character growth during this game. He goes from someone who will use and kill anyone as long as it will help him get his revenge, to someone who will fight to save the one person whose death could help him the most.

they haven't shown anything new since last E3. However, many of the claims that MS made last year have already been debunked just from the new info we have gotten. Sadly, 90% of what MS could possibly show with Natal at E310 will be possible on the PS3 Day1 of PSMoves launch or with firmware updates.
