Sex sells, it always has. VHS, Blu-ray, even photography, were pushed as technologies because of booby. And also due to the inherited nature of our society being male-dominated, it would make sense to appeal to the traditionally larger demographic.

Video games are definitely a way to indoctrinate young people into becoming a part of the war machine - look at how the focus in most of the popular shooters over the last couple of years have focused on very specific people and ethnicities, especially if you look at the predominant markets where this game is intended for.
You can argue the same thing about movies and games in the 80's as well, but the advancement of entertainment technology just propels this idea forwar...
I like the multimedia capability in a console. Microsoft's long term plan was always to make money of the sale of the XBL subs while keeping the cost of the console itself (realtively) low, I doubt this will change with their next generation.
I can't help but think that even as we gain the technology to connect with one another more, that we begin to lose something of ourselves. We drive closer and closer to this, where at the end of the day, one of the things I desire most is to be disconnected, just to be communicate with my loved ones in the way i choose, and preferably face-2-face, or if not, just to enjoy some silence.

Well it is a good point - since a good chunk of publishers re-do the game for multiple platforms, what with unified middleware this does make the process alot smoother than it used to be a decade ago
The only thing a Commando is good for is being stepped on. Have they re-introduced knock-down again into the game? Nothing like knocking a Commando over with your Atlas when you're feeling down!
Nope, I know of several friends who have variants of these, they seem reasonably well adjusted. Now if i can find me a decent Hawaiian shirt, now THERE's a statement!
As silly as something that shouldn't include Deathmatch mode, is just that - silly
