2 things
1. You're jumping the gun. GOW has been well reviewed but Phil's comment has 0 to do with metacritic it's about sells. A game can be a 99. But if you made little profit from it, it would be hard to justify a sequel.
2. GOW, correct me if I'm wrong isn't the traditional linear SP. Plus GOw is a 3 generation game. It's been around since the ps2 era and a face of PS. Much like a new Fable game would make him a flip flopper or dismiss his comment...
GOW was never known for it graphic but gotta give them credit, look like ND made it. Wish the kid wasn't there throughout the experience. Sweet if he gets kidnapped and Kratos goes crazy to get him back. Would be an epic chapter. Kratos always came across as a lone wolf to me.
Don't try and duplicate games. Like ppl pressuring Sony for a "Halo" MS just get a open world rpg out already. Wtf fable 4 hasn't happened? Idk but you'd think they would've been on top of it. Xbox hasnt scratched the open world rolpg itch this gen. For me it's the only genre missing. (That I care about) probably why I want to play horizon. Still gotta get shadow of Mordor and AC orgins
QB was good but like you said way too short for $60 (I payed $40) and the episodic cutscenes took you out the mood to game and left you wanting to watch TV or movies. Ori was great and I expect no less from 2 and SoD 2

1. Through the last 2 gens friends family and myself 90% of our games are multiplats most of my family and friend don't even own. An exclusive on either console. You'll see Madden, NBA, CoD for the majority and for many that is literally their entire gaming collection.
