Ouch looks like content might not even show up till the fall! They don't even have a road map for content after a year delay AND 5 months since launch. That's 17 months they had to fix last year's issues and make content. How was this even supposed to launch last year?!

To be fair Xbox is trying to claw back into the race it doesn't hurt them very much to offer their 1st party games day 1 because their games sell mediocre at best. So you want to talk limp reaction that's exactly it. Games already weren't selling so increasing the 'value' of the service didn't hurt them.

You know everyone makes this out to be way bigger than it is. The list that's playable is great, but, its extremely tiny. I have a pretty decent size 360 collection and only 6 or 7 of my games are backward compatible and my single Xbox King of Fighters Neowave game is playable. Plus they're not even expanding that selection anymore.

Konami can't just be bought first of all. Also 'dirt cheap' studio like Insomniacs for example run rings around Xbox studios in terms of releasing games. Plus for a 'dirt cheap' studio Insomniacs 20+ million and profits make enough for Sony to fund multiple purchases. Seems like some smart purchases to me.
