In no way are the experiences the same. They run 30 FPS instead of 60 and the graphics downgrades are noticeable.

You know I really think people really need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Not every release is for you or I. They are there to reach untapped markets.
For example I am not in the market for Sport games and I don't enjoy them, but, even I can say that release has its fans and can be commercial successes. Even though basically each year's NHL, Madden, NBA games are basically the same right?

This isn't for any of us gamers. This is geared towards the NEW fans from the TV series in time for the 2nd season.
Remember the same people complained about Sony's choice to Remaster part 1 as well. But the game went on to be one of the best selling games and it's because of the new people introduced to the series and never played it before.
Especially when you consider Playstation Digital sales are more than Xbox and Nintendo combined. Since Xbox Digital sales beat Nintendo that also means that Nintendo doesn't even come close to half of Playstations digital sales
If Sony is severely lacking how is it they get nominated regularly yet the company worth 2 trillion can't get nominated in 10 years?!

If it can do the same as the Series S and on the go and has GTA 6 like rumors suggest then that would most likely mean a lot of 3rd party games will be playable on the Switch too. It's also rumoured to also be backward compatible so if your Switch Library is also playable and you got an instant library playable too then the only thing that might be an issue is potentially the price of the Switch 2.
Xbox should be looking over their shoulders. If the Switch 2 is more powerful than the Series S then Xbox won't even be an after thought.
On the flip side Jack what games are they talking about on Xbox?! Wasn't Starfield game of the generation going to turn things around?

Like people have mentioned it's the cumulative affect of games. People will be discussing if they want Spiderman 2 along with GoW, Gran Turismo which is huge in the UK along with Fifa and COD then they need a PS5
