Yes, there are great games on both systems now. The only person who truly wins is the multiplatform owner.
Yes, PSN gets plenty of original IPs like Bionic Commando Rearmed, Super Street Fighter, Tekken 5, Worms and Lemmings right?
Why can't people just accept that BOTH services have unique games to offer? Does this site always have to be about bashing the competition? Why can't you just enjoy your games and be happy?
I, for one, am going to enjoy Fat Princess and Pixeljunk 1-4 to go along with my Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars, N+, Pac-Man Championship Edition, Braid, ...
Neither one of us called anyone a loser. Don't put words in my mouth.
Wow, way too many people that don't have friends.
And then there are people like me, who will be enjoying both the PS3's exclusives and the Fallout DLC.
You know, the guys that don't give a rat's ass about fanboy wars.
It's already up... I just saw it a bit ago.
Halo and Gears don't have lock-on dude. Try again.
Japan has a little over a third of America's population, and it has a little over a third of America's Wii sales. The numbers correlate pretty well.
Japan pop: Roughly 140 mil
United States pop: Roughly 306 mil
Japan Wii sales: 8 mil
United States Wii sales: 23 mil
8 million is just about right. I hope you didn't forget that Japan is, in fact, a smaller country.
Why do people care? Because sequels are made from great selling games. Simple as that.
Red Faction is not an XBLA title, Marvel vs Capcom is. Demos for full games can be released early, but XBLA titles have to wait until release day for the full game.
It's still a great game, so long as you are into the investigation genre. The original was the only one that utilized DS specific features, the rest just had touch (Dunno about Apollo Justice... haven't tried it).
The only things I need to be satisfied are Star Fox Wii (Built exactly like 64) and Pikmin 3.
Imagine Star Fox Wii with co-op and leaderboards... pure awesome.
Something something in the month of May...
If they're still wrapped, I would recommend holding on to them. In 10 years those will be worth a fortune, especially if they are black label.
Why? So that the gaming industry could be truly suffering from the recession? You do realize that quite a bit of the 360 and PS3's success is from Wii owners branching out, right?
No, probably not. Though it is a pretty simple observation.
...if they were "catastrophic failures" then we wouldn't have the Wii to begin with. I enjoyed my N64 way more than my PS1, tbh.
I never played the original, though I may one day borrow it from a friend. This one really does sound interesting, even if the idea of 'having da Vinci as a mentor' sounds ridiculously cheesy.
To be honest though, the game may have sold me just on the awesome boxart. Great Marketing ftw I guess.
It's not really programmed for the PS3 yet, they can't just stick it on a disk and ship it out. It has to be recreated specifically for the PS3 first.
Should have probably been marked spoilers. This sounds like it will be the major plot twist.
"The "misguided children of the video game industry" aka the 360 Xbots will only smirk at these games, calling them as "flops"."
Oh yes, because you guys clearly didn't label Too Human, Banjo-Kazooie, and Ninja Blade as flops.
Hypocrite. Can't you just enjoy your games instead of bashing the competition?
"The only game that they care is a Power Rangers rip-off kiddie game called Halo."
And the only ga...
