I'm really enjoying the game but I think the article is valid.
insight is the eye symbol at the top right . you get when you do certian things or you find it in item pick ups like madmans knowledge .
you cant level up your character till you find 1 insight which is kind of a dumb design choice IMHO
Im a noob and I'm enjoying it . had my times of frustration but keep coming back for more.i'm only in the catherdral area. I beat cleric beast pretty easy on my 2nd try. Father G was kicking me , I actually used a bell and called another player in and together we killed him without too much hassle

Would be great if you could choose where to spawn before it loads. At least the choice to spawn in world or in hunters dream.

Agree. The story is fairly interesting but the game just feels like a hard slog. I feel Like I have to force myself to play it. Gotta finish it in the next week or so to trade on blood borne.
The actual gun play is pretty terrible imho.
If they need more time then there's not much you can do but I have to say I'm feeling pretty let down with this generation so far. It's been a stream of mediocre games and delays.

6 months later ps+ version is now just a demo . who cares if it never comes out.
I bought DC a few months ago and it's a playable but very mediocre racer. But sony has pulled the shadiest move this generation with this game.

I got the game yesterday and am only a few hours in but I think 6.5/10 is right on the money so far
I think 8 hours is acceptable but it's the percentage of that that is cut scenes or QTE that could drag down the score
Let's be honest 7.5 isn't a great score for a AAA Exclusice meant to move consoles.
I'm looking forward to the game. But I flicked through the run through vids yesterday and randomly stopped in 10 places. 5 times it was a cut scene , twice a qte event and 3 times gameplay
I will be getting the game but I am a little worried about what I will be getting.
I like my ps4 but you can't deny the lck of dnla and streaming that the PS3 had is a feeble attempt to push people to use sonys other online services.
Adding these features would take no resources away from gaming and in this day and age can be implemented easily. It's just a power push from Sony to make more Money. I know companies need to make money but it shouldn't be at the expensive of removing very basic features that were there in previous generation.
Isn't the idea of early access to find exploits so they can be fixed ?
I got it last week and I think 7 is a fair score. Looks great and plays well. Nothing amazing about it though.
I hope UC4 brings it. I have to admit I have really enjoyed the 1st 3 games but by the end of the 3rd it was feeling a little done

I think it should be rated as to how the reviwer finds the game . I do find it hard to believe not 1 review out of 60 odd on metacritic found the games difficulty and lack of save points or instrucutions an issue.
