Gaming is the only industry that has a certain group of morons claiming exclusives are bad ( because they don't have any great ones ). You never see idiots 'demanding' one company's products be available to all the other companies for them to sell. You don't see that with cars, clothes, restaurants, phones, tv or ANYTHING else in this world!

Nope and it wouldn't even have been the same game if it was designed to work on the series S with it's crappy memory limitations.
Making it for 'everything' would have increased the time and development cost significantly. Plus they would have had to make sure it runs on the series S. which would have limited them and caused massive headaches just to release a crap running/looking version of their game.
PS5 exclusivity allowed them to focus on creating the best game they could in the shortest amount of time.....the funds and support from Sony helped with this even more. Now that they have pro...

The big, glaring, massively obvious issue with this direction of theirs is still the fact that you need to make top quality content in order to entice people to buy your console/service.
They can buy everything that isn't Sony first party as much as they want and still produce shit. Putting that shit everywhere is just spreading your shit everywhere. Sony's small collection of first party would still put out more desirable quality content in even that situation.
They hate Playstation to the point of insanity....yet want a Playstation game on Xbox so bad. These people don't even make sense in their OWN minds...

People seem to think that every Sony multiplayer service game will automatically achieve success like Helldivers 2 did. This is not the case as has been proven so many times......it's more a case of lightning in a bottle that usually wasn't predicted.
Also, even if the next 5 service games from Sony by some miracle match the quality of Helldivers 2 ( just humour me ), who is going to be playing all of them? People tend to stick to one or maybe two that they are ded...
