More and more things to dumbing down for "the newcomers" like many other company have done when bringing back old IPs...while its not a monstrosity as with Fallout 3 >.> its still retarded specially for the hardcore Diablo 2 fans
To be honest I am surprised Blizzard could do such a thing when they were suppose to have high standards but I guess they changed a LOT after the success of WOW and the merge with Activision :(
Funny this article is very similar to the one were the "Konami rep" was quoted saying that MGS4 for the 360 was confirmed and was going to be announced on E307 -_- (and lets not even go to the article were it was "confirmed" by the "Konami Distributor")
I guess like with similar previous rumors its only a matter of wait and see
Didn't Blizzard said they weren't bringing old classes back? but they brought the sorce...oh its call a wizard now? I see..."wizard" eh Blizzard ;)
Day 2 seems to have been a pretty slow day...hopefully things will start to pick up in the next days when those Sony "mystery" events
If you are talking about not having an internet connection to download the update didn't MS already said some of the new games (like Gears 2) will come with the update on the disc?...or something like that :P
MGS4? O.o
That and the fact that you can now get the PSN cards more easily :)
I think PSN games in general will se a increased sales due to the new cards being more widely available
I need to try it too :D
For me easily the best part of the conference was SO4 gameplay and release date (pretty much in my B day :P) and KOF98...but I was intrigued with H3R :)
Looking fast paced and brutally cool :D
cant wait for it :)
Judging but how low key was the enouncement in the whole conference...probably
I guess its the effect of the good sales of SC4 as a multiplat
Looking pretty sweet, it will make my perfect B day present :D
To be honest I would have preferred KOF 2002 since that is the one I played till my finger bleed...and with LIVE support I would have needed thumb surgery XD
Interesting enough the announcement was barely a single mention :(
I was hoping for a full trailer or gameplay video...maybe even some in depth info on the console versions T.T
I find it interesting that every time there is a big event this articles about new contracted manufactures for an external Blu-Ray drive seem to come out of nowhere and people go around saying its guaranteed it will be announce at the event
I have frankly lost the count of the events were previous to it a similar article came out only to be forgotten sine no announcement was ever made...cuz if we believe any of them MS would have been manufacturing those external driver for ove...
Well technically speaking fixing a RROD is pretty easy it requires some understanding of hardware (if you have installed a video card or built a PC you are good to go) the right tools (nothing complex) and it takes about 15 minutes to do it (newcomers might take longer just to take the 360 apart XD )
If you are going to do it I recommend you looking for the cooling mods that will vastly help including: the fan replacement, the extra fan, the modified air tunnel, the X-Clamp mod...
@LinuxGuru: technically the ISO loader has to replicate exactly the driver its suppose to be in this case make a perfect virtual copy of the 360s DVD Drive with all the pros and no of the mechanical cons, it is suppose to work at the same speed but in reality thanks to the elimination of the physical aspect of things for example the initial load from an ISO loader works instantly with out wasting time spinning the disc and recognizing it, in terms of reading the content again in theory its su...
@LinuxGuru: Dude I think you are confusing actual installs (ala PC) which what the 360 is going to do that is incorporate an ISO loader (a la Daemon Tools) both having have completely different pros and cons
So.....were can I find a higher res version of that pic? 8D
Fallout 3?...you mean Brotherhood of Steel 2 ;)
