Interesting that if you click on the castings you will find that its not just for new girls but for a new cast of boys and girls

I am a HUUUUGE fan of the original Half Life, with Quake II and RE3 its one of my most played games and when the remake comes out I will play it again :D
I am also a huge fan of Opposing Force, but it wasn't that fond of Blue Shift or Decay
I loved Warhead cuz despite being short it was non stop action :D

Well here are some quick thoughts I have regarding the game that I must say I found to be surprisingly good
+Love the combat system, from the whole unions, to the special orders, to the combos, chain critical (VERY good hit detection tech) or how the battle is affected depending on how you "move" your unions on the battlefield
+Love whole the teams auto handle themselves, no need to baby sit
+Love Mr Diggs and the whole aspect of exploring and leveling u...
Dude there must be something wrong with your PC, for one side I can confirm that it has texture pop in but its not even remotely as extreme as the 360 version, but in terms of performance it runs like a charm, running it on max under vista for 1680x1050 I get and average of 68fps without a single sluggish moment, and running it a console res of 1280x720 I get an average of 106fps again with out a single sluggish moment
I am running it with a 3.0Ghz Dual Core, 4GB RAM and a 8...
I don't know how it will work now in terms of control but from the actual combat in this video it looks like the major change is this "cinematic camera mode", so far the moves are the same as the PC version...I wonder if they will make the finishers easier to pull

@Motion: you must not be very familiar with Halo then since the game was announced at the 1999 Mac world as an RTS even Bungie said when trying to explain the concept of the game to the press that it was pretty much a sci fi version of Myth

This game completely deserves it...ive been playing the campaign non stop and its a BLAST to play :D

Any fan right now of Virtual On you are probably gonna need a new set of pants right now :D, Sadly I also expect high contrast reviews and word of mouth between the old and new fans and the people that just cant get into the game (which is surprisingly a good amount of people)

I have been playing for more than 12 hours and it hasn't crashed not even once, dude sounds like its your PC since this is the first time ive read a review with so much performance problems...hell many other praised the fact that is actually very stable compared to other recent RTS -_-
If you are going to start playing the Warhammer Fantasy or 40K I recommend you buying the stuff online since most third party sites have from 15-20% off from Games Workshop products cuz buying on the GW site or physical stores is CRAZY expensive and lets not even start with paints adn tools that are around 40-50% cheaper on non GW sites >.>
Sometimes I wonder if third party sites can lower the prices that much just how insanly cheap the miniatures should be at production ...
