I hope they rebalance the weapons from the demo since the Link Gun and Bio Rifle specifically since they didn't felt as effective as the ones from previous UT

Well I think the Witcher wont do as bad in sales as it could have done since they are actually advertising it in several sites (GameSpot,IGN, FilePlanet) and the fact that it received good scores from some of the big site aids a LOT, plus the game was sold out in Amazon O.o as of yesterday and even JR only had 1 left

I don't think its THAT bad, people were freaked out when they found out Jaffe wouldn't be directing GOW2...but that came out alright...people were initially freaking out that a completely different dev team was working on GOW:CoO and everything point to another fantastic game

And to sort of answer you question that is what a lot of devs do go make a big name out themselves doing a great game and move to make their own studio with that game...
Well I can only recommend Extraction Point since I already played that one, if you liked FEAR you are gonna LOVE extraction Point specially the top notch action since the games gives you the big guns very often (Laser Rifle and Minigun) but beware the scary parts in this one wont be as soft as in the original or Doom 3 kind of monster jumps out of the closet thing...this ones are PURE disturbing psychological terror and they come out when you least expect them...that really freaked me out >...

There is do doubt it could be twice as fast as the 8800 Ultra..but will it RUN games twice as faster? cuz if everyone remembers correctly ATI already taunted back at launch that that the Radeon HD 2900XT was faster than the 8800GTX...and well we all know what happened next...
and even then if it is not ULTRA cheap it wont even have a chance against the NVIDIAs 8800GT
I have NO idea why do they even bother putting this anti piracy measures on games that at the end ONLY cause trouble to the owners of the legit copy
For example Bioshock and now Hellgate even with their SUPER protection were cracked very shorty after release
And the ONLY ones that get all the S-IT are the legit owners...for example I lost 2 F-CKING activations for Bioshock since uninstalling it didn't removed it and the revoke tool didn't even worked

The game is looking pretty sweet ill be sure to pick this one up I just hope the patches start coming out fast to fix the technical problems :)
Here is what I want to see in Gears 2
-Longer Campaign at least 10-12 hours
-Better story more character development, plot twists, unexpected stuff...SOMETHING!
-Better weapons, knowing Epics history with weapons Gears were pretty generic for its pedigree, more Locusts weapons would be nice
-Better Boss battles, the Corpser was a joke, more stuff in the caliber of the first battle with the Berserk
-More variety in the enemies, drones 24/7 is not that...
EXACTLY my problem with the Bio Rifle was the for some strange reason the pieces of goo seem to be very small compared to previous ones and you have to aim REALLY good to hit someone when in previous ones you just aimed and the "splash" did all the work, but is true the secondary is still effective controlling crowded areas, my problem with the link guns is the same while primary fire seem to force you to be precise like the Bio rilfe the secondary caught me off guard since if you d...
